  1. That is correct John they are just screwed down with some sheet metal screws and the stock front studs used to locate them and bolt them down as well. They are indeed 96-01 XJ floor brackets. I would also take some kind of grinder with a cut off wheel. They are stitch welded in a couple places. Only like an inch or so but mine were welded down. I am not only still using those seats in my MJ but I also installed a pair in my white Dodge that we put the long bed SnugTop in. Remember that fiasco? LOL!
  2. Sadly the XJ floor brackets are still only sheet metal screwed down to the MJ's floor pan. I will burn them in after I clean the rust off the floors.
  3. They are out there but are rare! Here is a 94 RHD 2 door http://tenwheel.com/view/19162-1994_factory_right_hand_drive_cherokee_postal_jeep.html
  4. My A/C unit just went out and the MJ has a nasty rod knock. I'm out.
  5. This is pure wisdom right here!
  6. Bring the Crew with you and we'll make a week of it!
  7. I got a SWB I'd trade you Jon.
  8. Welcome to the club! Now 3 of us have them from the BSC!
  9. Not another one of you!
  10. Correct. Paint to match your dash choice. The mist gray matches the stock gray pretty close
  11. The engine is shot. I have 21# of oil pressure on cold start and 2# at warm idle. I have a line on a engine with a tick for $120. I'll be replacing the engine soon.
  12. Look threw BOTH of my build threads if you want to see what can and more than likely will happen to you if you sell it.
  13. You can use TJ tilt mechanisms in a Newer XJ, ZJ or WJ seat. I did it to the ZJ seats that are in my truck. There is a post in the DIY section with a write up.
  14. You need to start checking wires right next to the rat's nest behind the battery.
  15. I have used it twice I think
  16. Mud Dawgs are great tires. They are a renamed Maxxis Big Horn. You'll love them off road. I had them on my WJ and it was a wheeling machine!
  17. Colorado is awesome. Swing by Pueblo and see Mr. Jim Oshel, head north to see Manitou, Garden of the Gods and then to the top of Pike's Peak to get a doughnut. Colorado Springs is full of cool stuff to see. If you can make it to Telluride and Black Bear pass as well that would make your trip a success.
  18. One of my all time favorite wheels. Outlaw IIs look great on a MJ!
  19. Paint turned out nice. The black interior is pretty rare. Finding seats in good condition is even harder. The plastic pieces pop up every now and then. Most are hoarded by members here though. I have 2 black interiors minus the dash and seats though.
  20. You need 97+ floor brackets. Or you can bolt some angle iron to the floor and drill and fight and cuss. 96 and newer seats do not bolt to the older bases or the floor.
  21. Check the ground behind the drivers side tail light. Clean and regound. If that doesn't work pull the pump and hook it up to the battery and see if it powers up.
  22. The numbers are for year produced. There were a lot of 86s made in 85 and the same with the 92s. There were a lot more 92s with 91 build dates. My 86 was made 9/85 but it is still a 86.
  23. Members who contribute and are great guys are easy picks as well. There are some great trucks on this forum and it is often hard for us to pick a clear victor. There is also a kind of system. Wheeler, stocker, mild offroader and street trucks. We try to mix it up every month so the impression is not just one type of truck is what gets picked.
  24. Did you put the wrong shoes on? There is usually a primary and secondary shoe. That means there is a long shoe and a short shoe.
  25. Looking good!
