New discos on an XJ. After I remove the cotter pin, I cannot slide the bottom off the bracket. It's extremely tight. Tried a rubber mallet, but didn't work. I understand it may just take more force, but don't want to bend anything. Any hints?

I think this is 'flip'. Saw a similar truck (must be the same) on CL about two months ago for about $6K. Clean it up and add wheels/tires, flip for a few grand. Prob work around ATL.

Came through here (ATL) during rush hour(s) traffic. Real life definition of going from bad to worse! Lots of trees down, power lines on the roads and traffic lights not working. Had a rabbit run from the soggy road-side into the lane in front of me. Let's just hope it wasn't the Easter bunny or there'll be lots of disappointed kids next year.... :cry:
