  1. Dyno queen. Maybe in a mud bog buggy. Disappointed. Stock pistons with huge quench, Needed to port the intake runners and cut shorter the carb adapter insert portion. Surprised with that big cam and better flowing head and 4 barrel carb it only reved to 5000. Now do a real world build with factory EFI and ignition control.
  2. I have them in 2 of my XJs and F150. Love em, wouldn't use anything else for the type of use we do.
  3. 6 months later, What is the latest on this build?
  4. Thanks, I was looking at ProFender 2.0 were like $1540 shipped with springs. I think that I will go with these FOA 2.5 for $1625 shipped. They are USA based and seem to have more offroad experience and advice.
  5. WOW those are some big tires and wheels, 46s. What coilover brand are those? What spring rating did you use? Price? We need to come by and check out your build. My son is in your area on a regular basis visiting friends.
  6. Look at the Eastwood MIG 250. Bought one recently and it welds better than anything else we have used. $899, you get more than you pay for. http://www.eastwood.com/mig-250.html
  7. More details on the 2500/3500 master cylinder upgrade. What year? What do you have to do to the actuator rod?
  8. Had a bad running and stalling issue and found that when we redid the fuel tank pickup, you really do need the sock filter. We sucked up some fuel tank debris and clogged the fuel filter/water separator and clogged the fuel line from the tank to the fuel filter. Cleaned everyting, blew it out, replaced the filter and added a filter sock to the fuel tank pickup. Back running well. Now for the latest--

  10. In my area the 55/100w bulbs are illegal and the GE/Trucklites are legal.
  11. Is that arm and TRE going to hit the spring on full left turn?
  12. To lubricate it? Vacuum in and out? and oil in and out?
  13. Thanks, I like that. I thought it was ? oil or water. Vacuum, umm, I got some ideas for that. Second that on the Red Line hood struts. We have a set and they work perfectly. I have looked at all the hood lift clones and keep coming back to the Red Lines.
  14. If you were closer, I would take it.
  15. What pump is that off the back of the alternator?
