Looking for some ideas from my Midwest homies. The wife and I always go and do something fun for our anniversary at the beginning of June. It's been a few years since we've hit up the VW show in the MN Metro area so we'd like to hit that up on June 1st. Otherwise we're looking to fill a week or so worth of road trip awesomeness and we're not looking to venture too far from MN. Not picky... Open for opinions... Keep in mind though that we're folksy people who aren't really into anything too fast paced. Been looking at going to the Chicagoish area for a while now. Maybe this is a good time? What's out there? What's some cool stuff to do? Thoughts? 1-2-3-GO!!!

Seems as though I'm a minimalist. Everyday it goes wallet, keys on the clip, keys for whatever vehicle I drive that day (each has its own cattle tag based off of year of manufacture), and my chunky rubber phone.

Needs longer shackles. :eek:

Oh, yeah!... I forgot about this! I think I would be safe to assume what with the date this was all started, but...

Really depends on what state you're in along with how much is produced per year. Selling is where things get dicey. :peek:

Not much of an update but I felt it was worth sharing... The fuel pump has been working flawlessly however the truck has been seeing less miles lately also. My wife went back to school this semester so we've been carpooling almost everyday. Poor truck has only gotten driven a few times over the past couple months. Fortunately it got up and around this week! Unfortunately, it also has inherited some inhabitants. Driving into work on Thursday and out of the corner of my eye I see this little shadow dart from under the seat to up and in the dash. I instantly knew it was a mouse and started to go into panic mode over what may already be chewed and pissed on in the truck. I've got a couple intersections with a signal light on my drive and at the first one, he pops out and sits right in the middle of the passenger side floor mat. Little bastard just glares at me like I'm disturbing his peace! I'm sure he was giving me the finger in whatever way mice do too! I get to work, grab the trap that's always sitting under my desk and throw it out there for the day. Quitting time rolls around and I go out to check the trap... bupkis. I get home and throw some of my traps on the floor and continue the waiting game. Haven't seen anything since. :fs2:

I'm using Google Chrome. I clicked on your link, then right clicked on the picture, selected "copy image URL", then came back here to click on the picture button, and pasted the image URL into the box. Ta da!

I've gotten this in the past when I "borrow" a picture from another website. I think it has to do with the format that the original picture was saved as or posted as... or something like that. If it's a picture that I really, really want to use I usually end up saving it and rehosting it on my own.

Back to business as usual... It's that time of year (or so I hear from the warmer states anyhow) that things are thawing, the trees are blooming, and things are getting that familiar green color again. I think there's plenty of us that can't help but feel like winter has gone on long enough! I know I miss the feel of cleaning up the yard, going for a bike ride, or just enjoying the outdoors... you know green stuff! What better way to enjoy this month than to treat ourselves with something... well... REALLY GREEN?! BLUE XJ'S '88 LONGBED!!!

YES!!! :banana: I really didn't think it'd actually be THAT easy! So... does that mean that I have to pick it up today also?... because that might be a problem. If it's cool with you, I'd just assume wait until I get out that way next, and there WILL be a next time. Not sure when, but you better plan on me holding you to it! :thumbsup:
