  2. Hello guys, hope everyone is doing well! My motor is on the way out, I check the engine compression and three cylinders are at 90 psi and idling rough . thought about rebuilding but going with remanufacture instead, what are you guys thoughts on ATK and sure fire engines ? I heard really bad reviews and what do you guys recommend ? (still wanted to keep small 4 cyclinder instead going 4.0 ) The MJ is my daily driver, details in my MJ are 1987 base 4x2 2.5 L Thanks for the reply !
  3. I have been putting this off for a long time but have a lot of free time today so I'll go ahead and post this up. I got my truck in the summer of 2011. She is a 1989 Comanche Pioneer,4.0, 2wd, d35, auto on the column, with about 280000 miles on it. I really am just guessing about that mileage because the guy I bought it from at a pseudo car lot, really it was just a garage with cars out front, said the gauge cluster had been replaced and it actually had 140k miles on it rather than the near 240k the clock was showing.   4. Well, this is my intro post and the start of my build thread. My name is Brent and I'm a jeepaholic. I'm not new to jeeps as this is my 3rd that I've owned and the 4th in the family. First jeep was owned by my father back in the early 2000's. It was a 1992 XJ 2wd 4door. It had around 250,000 miles when the speedo quit, therefor the odometer stopped working and we had no idea how many miles it actually had after that. We kept it for a while then regretfully sold it.
