  1. Currently three and a half.
  2. Needs more triangulation. :D
  3. I can confirm that the money has been refunded. While I'm sorry to hear about your health, this is where just a little bit of communication goes such a long way. If a tracking number had been given when the package was shipped one could simply watch it instead of jumping to conclusions. It has been three weeks since any communication between us has happened and it was spotty messages every week to week and a half that I heard anything back from you before that. PMs, emails, and messages through PayPal were not being answered. To me, that's a red flag. I find it hard to believe that the minute that it'd take to send an email explaining the situation couldn't be found. For how much important information that gets passed around electronically these days the smart thing to do in the future would be to at least have someone check on things for you. Not necessarily reading through everything, but if it's found that you're getting similar messages through multiple sources then that should be a red flag on your part as well. I understand that health takes importance over everything as I struggle with all sorts of issues myself, but I'm not sure that someone could say that this was totally out of your control. As for the name calling and potential letters to family, I can't say that I'm not partially to blame as I started this thread after all. None of the communications directly from me to you were ever intended to be hurtful however I cannot control the actions of others. If what you're saying is true, then on behalf of myself and from Comanche Club I do apologize. While I don't like how things turned out, I also think this is a learning experience for everyone. It cannot be said enough that a little communication goes such a long way.
  4. Another route to try with the kink-o-matic is THIS. I've played around with a couple of these style benders and I've have good results in the past when adding an upper shoe to keep the material from lifting. I think with some practice with the bender one could make some good, repeatable bends. Still, I think modifying one of these benders is like putting lipstick on a pig, but hey... some pigs make good bacon too!
  5. Good thing you've got cup holders to keep your alcohol in check then! :laughin: Seriously though, kids... don't drive and drive.
  6. Washed it out and made sure everything was still there.
  7. For those who may have forgotten about this... ... it's back from the archives.
  8. For those who have some time to kill: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/general-chit-chat-classics/399203-d60-rear-4-88s-35-spline.html
  9. Not an ebay transaction. Just one dude trying to work with another. It was run through a credit card that's tied to the PayPal account. Not a huge deal if I need to get in touch with the card people, just one more hand in the cookie jar. I made the claim through PayPal three days ago. I highly doubt it, but out of the graciousness from within me I'm giving him the weekend to see if he does the right thing through PayPal. I've got until July 8th to sick the wrath of the PayPal representatives after him. Definitely not worried about getting the money back.
  10. Right? At the very least send me a PM or email me back. Haven't heard anything through PayPal either.
  11. If you budget is that big, I'd figure some of that in to some travel expenses and go south. Clean trucks around here are pretty few and far between.
  12. Better pull the diff cover anyhow just to be sure.
  13. Not so much. Ratios: 2.5/5spd = 4.10, 2.5/4spd = 3.55, 4.0/auto = 3.55, 4.0/5spd = 3.07... typically anyhow.
  14. From my wanted ad for a HO gauge cluster: Like I said in the quote, never have I been one to really stir things up and throw mud at someone. Just wanted things known to make sure you know who you're buying things from. I've never had any issues in the past purchasing something here from someone I've never personally met, but just the thought that I was doing business with someone from CC was good enough reason to show a little trust. We're all friends, right? I like to think so! Really too bad things come to publicly calling someone out that can't seem to handle holding up their part of a deal even WELL after paying for the item. Was it a lot of money? Maybe not, but it was definitely enough that you'd pick it up off the ground if you saw it. Anyhow, I guess what I really wanted to say is a big "thank you" to Dando. Thank you for relieving me of a lump of cash that you clearly didn't think I deserved anything for.
  15. ...Not to be rude but NEVAR!! Haha!! Maybe trade it for the green truck once its done? :peek: We need more pictures of it anyhow!
  16. You know that just means you can drag home more stuff easier, right? Also... when can I own your new CJ? :D
  17. I've thought about the same thing many times. You've got the cruise control switches on the '96 steering wheel to work with also.
  18. HERE'S A THREAD that's pretty much what you're doing. This guy used a '96 and '87.
  19. Going to need more pictures than that.
  20. Awfully rust free looking MJ for MN. Where are you located at?
