  1. Yeah I was just thinking about that now...I'm here at my grandmas painting some interior pcs. got future plans for that. then I realized I forgot the switch and bezel. I was wondering how was I going to hook it up then I read your message and I'm definitely going back tomorrow to grab the switch and bezel
  2. I guess they are trying to replicate the same features or similar costs as the optima batteries....maybe?
  3. I ran into this issue myself...but someone placed a link into my thread about a new aftermarket unit bearing compared to a used timken unt bearing in my old thread. I ended up buying timken bearings and no problems since early this year. http://comancheclub.com/topic/36092-unit-bearing/?fromsearch=1 I know it doesn't shine much light on your question about the tapered bearing compared to ball bearing but the video itself set me to get timken.
  4. Did you check the wire leading to that lug?
  5. Also saw this one at the junkyard today. Similar to what your link has and it also has the wrap around grill pieces to complete it.
  6. What's up guys Got an update...decided to do a run at the lkq here in miami and struck comanche gold!!!! The first question you ask yourself when you see a comanche in the junkyard is what? Tailgate? Tail lights? Fuel sending unit? Saw this bad boy at the junk yard 1988 pioneer 4.0 2wd automatic It had bad rust damage on the roof of the truck And scored a tail gate, tail lights, fuel sending unit, behind the seat backing board, and a cargo light
  7. Well mine didn't say any brand on there I found mine off an cherokee

  10. Man! I'm in such awe! The country side looks so amazing! I don't get to see that at all here in miami....mainly highways and inner city neighborhoods....great mj coming along very nice! Especially with all the armor.
  11. Man that jeep is BA!!!! Besides the comanche the cherokee looks awesome....great find!
  12. I've never seen this color before but this has a few features that has caught my eyes mainly the chrome on it http://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/cto/3924810672.html

  14. Coolant temp sensor and oil pressure sensor
  15. Those wink mirrors were used a lot for the deaf and hard of hearing. So since they can't hear emergency vehicles approaching from behind they can view from the rear view. I know this because my parents are deaf and have used them before.
  16. It's looking good man! Love the diff cover! And good luck on the brake lines hope it comes out good
  17. What's up guys I have been curious for a while and especially seeing a thread about stainless steel lines....what's the best extended rubber brake line for our trucks for any lift? I have a 3" lift and going to move to 5.5" later down the line
  18. Man if I'd only knew how hard these mud flaps are to come by...I haven't seen any Comanches since the one I've seen over a year ago....but I've seen countless cherokee jeep mud flaps....next set ill pick up and see if they fit.
  19. Welcome! Nice looking truck!
  20. Awesome! I've been throwing back and forth to do the dual diaphragm upgrade. Can't wait
  21. Best gasket to get for the 4cyl is the 98 dodge Dakota 4cyl gasket....it's a premade rubber plastic gasket....I've had mine in for the last few months and no leaks at all best investment yet....
  22. Reason why I asked is because if it was a manual transmission these trucks commonly leak at the clutch master cylinder and the brake fluid spills all over the fuse panel causing many electrical gremlins..... I would try to refresh the grounds first like 1989 eliminator said....and go in from there...these trucks did have a very weak ground system http://comancheclub.com/topic/36382-cruisers-renix-tips/?do=findComment&comment=395486
  23. I had the same problem with my plastic valve cover but just by snugging the bolts it still cracked the valve cover...I've been looking for an aluminum cover for months before I found one...I just recently saw another at the junkyard....if I pick it up today....I wouldn't mind picking it up for you for the price of the cover plus ship.... Walt
  24. Was helping a family friend move....that's a full size couch, love seat, a recliner, and a few paintings and the truck barely slouched. ran like a champ driving 40 miles to the house
