  1. Sold the truck. Too many things going wrong with it at the same time. Money Pit.
  2. Yes, I'll be sad to see it go, but am realizing I do not have time to restore it, nor give it the upkeep it really needs. I am staying with Jeep though. Looking at new Wranglers over the weekend. -Erin
  3. Neohic....How cold is it up there? MJRemi....Mine did not have intermittent wipers...But it is closer!
  4. Cruiser54....do you have a part number for the GM one?
  5. ^I don't have cruise control. This is the lever inside the cab on the steering column. I just looked, and all of them that come up are for an automatic with cruise.
  6. Got a part number by chance? Napa does not list the part, the only thing I have found so far is one for tilt/cruise etc....not the base model.
  7. Hey All, So, it is currently about 10 degrees here in sunny MN. Got in the truck today and the turn signal/wiper control arm fell out. IF I stick the arm back in, I can get turn signals and wiper fluid, but NO wipers. I need this part asap as this is my daily driver. Probably need the switch too. IF anyone has one, please post here. Price plus shipping to 55407? Normally Id post this in the wanted section, but need it right away and the wanted section does not always provide results. -Erin
  8. For now, I am going to wire brush the crap out, and use some good primer, and when it gets warm, it will get ground down, and the rocker replaced. Thanks again.
  9. Does it continue to rust under the paint? I was thinking more along the lines of Naval Jelly, only better....
  10. Hey Guys, I am looking for a recommendation on a rust treatment, either brush, or spray on. It has gotten too cold out here to do any rust removal/panel replacement outside, so for now, Id like to treat the rust areas and deal with it in the spring. -Erin
  11. Well, The weather has turned cold pretty quickly here, and I have no inside place to work on the truck, so for now, I am simply going to treat the rust and live with it till spring. Sinkrun....Your photo is what I had before I trimmed the top half of the rocker off. I can now massage them into place pretty well. The good thing I have going, is, the top part of my existing rocker is still in pretty good shape. IF anything, I can weld on a thicker piece of metal underneath to re-inforce it before I weld it on. I'll keep subscribed to this to see if there is any progress by C2C. So far, I have not gotten anymore info from them.
  12. They are in MI. I would not send them a NOS rocker. IF anything, Id find a good one out of a junkyard.
  13. I got a response from them. They are looking for an original rocker so they can correct it. I told them to post here, as there is nothing left of my original rockers that would be useable to them. Here is the response.... "I did notice that I am shocked that this has never been brought to our attention before. We have mocked these from what another company was producing and most of what we've copied from there was incorrect. By any chance are you able to cut off your original and send to us for a pattern so we can correct it?"
