  1. The efan turns on automatically when AC is turned on. My efan comes on when the REM registers coolant temp of 219*. The efan temp switch is on the cool side of the radiator. The efan switch is supposed to come on at 195*.
  2. My vote is the CPS. I had the exact same condition many years ago.
  3. Someone should tell the seller that the grill is upside-down. What's wrong with the front (rear?) bumper?
  4. It looks like the clip and slide are backwards
  5. Download the complete manual. It’s very helpful. See the DIY section
  6. From the Renix Fuel Injection manual:
  7. If LTFT is >128, then STFT should be<128 to bring LT back down, on a normal operating engine. How high is LTFT?
  8. Yes, it was Buckskin color. Yours looks like it is very faded or a combo of the two shades of tan. The lighter shade is closer to gray. The darker shade is closer to bronwish/orange,
  9. I found the picture of the installation. There were two shades of "tan" in 87. One was a lighter shade and the other was darker (the name was Honey). Mine is the honey.
  10. I do but not on my phone. I will search for it.
  11. MTS sells the fuel pump/sending unit assembly. http://www.mtscompany.com/sendingunits.htm
  12. I don’t believe the Renix Jeeps had a NSS, but I’ve never had an automatic.
  13. As an owner of a 87 MJ with an AX15, it doesn't have, never had, and doesn't need a NSS. Your friend has been given bad advise.
  14. I thought the number of tumblers were different from the door and ignition keys.
  15. I can find Renix O2 testing. I think HO sensors work on diff scales. https://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/Engine/Basic_Sensors_Diagnostics.htm Scroll down to the O2 sensor.
  16. O2 sensor stuck in open loop?
  17. Evapo rust works great
  18. Sounds like yours may have been changed in the past. Factory CC used the football reservoir. You indicated that the cannister is from a 91.
  19. The oval one is if you have cruise control.
  20. This reminds me of a certain NFL team that had to change the name because a minority of Native Americans (First Nations) people were offended. The original use of the name was descriptive, not a pejorative. People from Europe were describe as White Men. Native Americans' skin was red. The team took the name not from Native Americans, but from the Boston Tea Party. The colonials' dressed up as Indians and dumped the tea in the harbor. The team started in Boston and were first named the Braves (like the baseball team, now in Atlanta). For reasons I forgot, the owner changed it to the R word. The emblem/logo was drawn by a Native American Indian. Surveys of NA people over the years found that most people were either in favor of the name (and other sports teams' names) or were indifferent. A minority - depending on the survey - was less than 20% were "offended" by the name. Richard Nixon once referred the first group as the silent majority. The use of Indian name as mascots or Jeep vehicles was never intended as pejorative. Who would ever root for a team or drive a vehicle with that type of name. (See why the Chevy Nova didn't sell well in Spanish speaking countries.) If we have to eliminate Native American names from our lexicon, then we have change the name of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, North and South Dakota, and Oklahoma, to name just a few. Additionally, many cities need to change names: Indianapolis, Cheyenne, and many towns in Mass. When will this PC "stuff" end? (I am done on my soap box.)
  21. Nice. Long Bed, Laredo ?
  22. http://www.mtscompany.com/sendingunits.htm Yes I have a link.
  23. I have to one pictured and one that mounts in front of the console storage box. I don't care for either one. The pictured one is to far to reach, doesn't hold large size drinks, and cuts off leg room for the passenger. I don't have the lower brace. It has fallen off the console on bumpy roads spiling what ever it was holding. I removed it. It is sitting on my spare parts shelf. The one that sits in the console is a little better, but with a manual, my elbow keeps hitting my drinks. I am going to move it the parts shelf next. I just use a sports bottle with a sealable straw. It rests in the console storage tray. Easy reach. Doesn't interfere with shifting. Doesn't get in the way for the passenger. Doesn't fall on the floor on bumpy roads.
