  1. My MJ has tow mirrors. I am looking for the mirror blank plates for the driver’s side door or both if sold as a set. Please let me know if you have any for sale. Thanks.

  3. You keep KY in your garage? Is work that exiting?
  4. After reading and re-reading Jeremy's instructions, I went to get YouTube certified to add blue tooth to the radio. Jeremy's instructions and several YB videos showing how to add the wiring, add a blue tooth board, and providing power to the BT board. Jeremy's instructions will eliminate the AM band. Not too bad. I don't listen to AM radio anymore. With his method, I need to adapt the 3.5 mm plug to the port on my iPhone. Several of the other videos involve tapping into either a cassette or CD player. Again, I don't listen to tapes or CDs anymore. However, both require having a cass/CD in the player to active the BT to broadcast to the phone. One more wrinkle is using my phone to make/receive calls. My aftermarket unit is BT and has a microphone for calls.
  5. Here it is 52381847_AUX-C1Instructions.pdf
  6. In the DIY section, "What Minuit knows about...", Pete linked to a YT video showing someone performing the steps. In that video, you can see an instruction sheet that was downloaded from Jeremy's website - now defunct. I reached out to him - Doug - on his YT channel to ask if he still had the instruction document. He replied with the pdf attached!!! He also provided links to the harness wires and pins. Those links are still in the DIY thread. I looked the website (digikey.com) for USB type harness. The USB wire configuration uses 5 wires, while the one Jeremy used is only 3 wires. Since I am not an electronics expert, I don't know what the two extra wires control and how they interact with USB plug. I have an adapter for my iPhone that uses an 8mm male pin to the phones plug in port. However, a blue tooth dongle would be sweet. Does anyone know what the two extra wires control (both black)?
  7. I know that Jeremy has retired from his radio repair business for health and job reasons. I have searched for info on the 'net about installing aux and/or BT to old AMC/Jeep radios. Is there a site that has a detailed write up on how to install/modify old radios for aux/BT. I searched on CC but could find written instructions or a parts list. I found a YT video on installing aux, but is was from '22. While that helped visualize the process, I need written instructions (cookbook) to perform the task. Thanks in advance.
  8. I am looking for the tow mirror brackets. Must be movable. Don't need the mirrors.
  9. A Renix has three coolant sensors. 1. Temp Gauge on dash - back of the head, close to the fire wall. 2. ECM - screws in to block below manifolds 3. E-fan switch - screws in to left side of radiator to control e-fan.
  10. I haven't changed it recently. Since I installed the AX15 I used either Pennzoil Syncromesh or tried 10/30 oil. Syncros are something I need to inspect.
  11. Sorry to hijack this, but... Does that part fit on the tip of the slave cylinder push rod? My AX15 has trouble going in to 1st and 2nd when shifting. It is really difficult when starting from a stop light. I have to push really hard and often have to shift through other gears. There is no grinding of gears when shifting. With engine off, I can shift through all gears. My online research suggests that the clutch is not fully disengaging. Would the additional tip help with releasing the clutch?
  12. I have a large storage tub full of parts from MJ/XJ. I made a list of most of the parts inside and taped it to the top. Now, I just have to remember to look at the list before I go and buy a new part.
  13. also, does yours have cruise or not? Different ends toward the cluster.
  14. Brake and clutch pedals look hardly used!
  15. just my 2¢ - look for wear on the brake and clutch pedals. That may indicate use. Are the bed rails factory? My 87 has different style rails.
  16. I used to work near that. Probably bought parts from them.
  17. I’ve got the same comment. When I tell them it’s factory, they say “I didn’t know Jeep made a truck.”
  18. As seen on Craigslist NC https://www.facebook.com/share/Fq2GtYUGruSvbShe/?mibextid=79PoIi

  20. Yes, but wait until you’re done
  21. Probably part of the package you are getting, but don't forget the transmission mount. The clutch master cyl. may not work on the MJ. The later XJ master cyl stuck out further and are taller than the earlier style. Others may correct me on this. I purchased a Horror Fright transmission jack to remove/install the trans/tcase when I did my swap. https://www.harborfreight.com/automotive/jacks-jack-stands/transmission-jacks/450-lb-low-lift-transmission-jack-61232.html Good luck.
  22. Yes. You can remove the pan with the engine still in. It helps to raise the body and let the axle hang down.
