I just purchased one of these, a little pricey (could get five from Quadratech for the same price), but I got tired of the cracking bottle and the bad cap seals. http://www.macsradiator.com/replacmentjeepradiatorfilltanks.aspx There used to be some on e-Bay for ~$100 but I don't see them anymore.

The panel is secured to the brackets with two fasteners each, the tan part at the top of the brackets in the picture is actually part of the panel that I cut out to salvage the brackets. The panel should be wide enough to span from under the plastic trim piece under the rear window to these brackets (just off the floor), maybe the PO cut the panel short? The brackets have that angled shape at the bottom so the “tabs” in the floor covering can slip inside them. Should look like this.

Lets start our own auction. What do you think it will go for? My guess: $7500

Can you post a couple of picture of these "brackets"? Are they bolted to the floor and look like this, they are for the carpeted rear panel that covers the back of the cab, available with some trim packages.

According to the diagnostic procedure (first page last two bullet points), vacuum should be present when you unplug the connector, so it seems like a bad solenoid.

I have a slider up in the rafters of the garage, I'll pull it down and trace it. PM an address. -Mike

Any shop that sells camper shells should have a boot gasket for the shell, very similar to the rubber strip from the bottom of a garage door as jimoshel mentioned. The problem with them is they rub against the back of the cab and eventually abrade through the paint. I prefer the type with their own window as Eagle described.

Here's a BRAHMA on a short bed, fits OK, a little lower than the cab, and a little narrower than the bed in the front.

I bought one at Kragens Auto Supply, it never worked properly so I took it back and got one from NAPA, it's been going for 7 years. Make sure you remember where all the spacers/bushings go if you don't have any reference material. Edit: Well, here it is if you need it from the '90 FSM.

Shelby Dakota's had something similar. In '90 when I was looking for my Comance one dealer tried to get me to buy one of these since he didn't have any Comanches.

Make sure to get yourself black lug nuts if you go with black wheels.
