  1. Strange, mine has a bushing in there. Maybe mine was worn out and the bushing was added by a previous owner.
  2. Looks like your missing the bushing and clip. Kind of scary if the rod pops out the brake pedal arm. Maybe the master is bad, even though you say it looks new. (could be a low quality rebuilt unit). The piston assembly not returning all the way and blocking the fluid return hole.
  3. Do you have the valve on the compressor screwed in all the way blocking off the condenser ? Should be in the mid position.
  4. I got the E-Mail about the pictures.
  5. Looking good, but it is a bad habit to lay tools on the battery. Don't want to short the terminals together.
  6. Have you tried to tighten the belt a little more?

    I like the tailgate.
  8. For that price, he could of cleaned it up at least.
  9. I have the same problem after changing the same seals on my truck. It has been almost a year and they are still tight, was hoping they would shrink some and loosen up. Pretty much I never open my windows, because it feels like the handle is going to break off. One of these days I am going to remove them and shave the ribs off the sides to see if that helps. Hope you find a solution.
  10. Check for moisture in the distributor cap, that could cause it to run rough or stall out.. I washed my engine and had transmission shift problem. I disconnected and reconnected the transmission connectors on the passenger side of the engine bay and this fixed the issue, they were moist inside. Hope this helps.
  11. He said he can shine a light thru it, can't be to solid. https://www.ringpinion.com/b2c/ProductDetails.aspx?ProdID=1326
  12. Are you sure it is not a roll pin? Just have to punch it out.
  13. That is the engine knock sensor. The coolant sensor is in front of it.
  14. Did you apply power to the black with white tracer? I think that it is the ground for the relay coil. If you did you might of damage the ECU.
  15. Did you put in as much coolant as came out ? Like mentioned above, you probably have an air pocket.
  16. Looks like your battery terminal is upside down and the bolt is loose.
  17. If he replaced his 2wd springs with 4wd springs, wouldn't he get the extra inch of lift? Although it would matter how much the springs have sagged.
  18. Does the 2.5 have a crank position sensor? My 89 4.0 XJ would act up like that, and found that if I unplugged and reconnected the sensor connector it would run good for a couple of months then start doing it again. Disconnect and reconnect and it was good again. Finally cut out the connector and hardwired it, no issues ever again. Don't know if this is your problem ,but worth a try.
  19. Looks like there should be three lines at the top of the light. You did an excellent job on it.
  20. Where is your upper control arm?
  21. Check the voltage on the CPS while cranking. You could also try unplugging and reconnecting the CPS connector a couple of times to clean the terminals. My XJ would not start sometimes because of a dirty CPS connector.
  22. You need to see what the output voltage is from the Crank position sensor when you crank the engine over. That would be a good place to start. Search for Cruisers tech tips for the renix engine. http://comancheclub.com/topic/48463-cruisers-mostly-renix-tips/?hl=renix+tips
  23. I bought a set of chrome headlight bezels fro Quadratech. Listed as OEM parts. Got cheap china knockoffs. Bad chrome and flimsy plastic. Called them on this and they said they have the license to reproduce the parts and they can cal them OEM. Sent the crap back.
  24. Your stock exhaust tailpipe was straight? Interesting, all three of mine and all I have seen exhaust to the side like the Walker in your pic. The end was cut and welded on straight by the previous owner.
