  1. This link comes in handy for various Renix sensor issues. http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/Engine/Basic_Sensors_Diagnostics.htm
  2. Not trying to do your legwork for you but out of curiosity I checked Craigslist in you area and found several. This one seems to have everything you want and looks like a pretty nice truck. http://fayetteville.craigslist.org/cto/3354196660.html
  3. I was thinking you may have missed this DIY. http://comancheclub.com/topic/13591-moving-alt-to-ac-mount/
  4. I mis-read, I thought you needed the write-up. I don't know where to find the bracket. Sorry!
  5. Jim, the next time you go up in the air you need to take an aerial view photo of the collection. Of course you'll have to take one every week forevermore to include the newest stray you bring home.

    No problem Kevin!
  7. Welcome to the site. It sounds like you'll have some great tech information which some of us (me) lack.
  8. Regarding the horn, it should be mounted to the bracket just behind/below the turn lamp.

If you or Jake want to come to Escondido, you can have the set-up out of the 86 MJ. It's tan but I don't know if the pillar bracket is the same as the XJ.
  10. Just left of the steering column, on the back side of the lower dash panel, there is a 3"x3" box velcroed to the panel. There are two multi-wire harnesses plugged into each side of the box and the harnesses plug into each other if you disconnect the box. mjeff87 beat me to it!
  11. If the above suggestions don't solve it, and if you have intermittent wipers, disconnect the intermittent relay box and plug the two harnesses together. If the relay is bad, the wipers should work.
  12. I've taken apart a few with a 1ft length of 2x2 or 2x4 and a deadblow hammer. Keep at it, it will come off.
  13. That looks more like a Cherokee hitch. Mine is bolted through the sides of the flange into the bumper bracket mounting holes as in the above link.
  14. I have them on my 86 parts truck. I am 98% sure they are in great shape but I can't confirm until daylight tomorrow. PM me if you want to negotiate a price and I'll post pics as well.
  15. I already spotted the new Fiat Comanche Image Not Found

  17. You may want to move this to the Wanted section and also state your color preference, if any. What area do you live in? I have the trim on a parts truck but shipping can add to the cost.
  18. There's a guy parting out a damaged MJ (only had about 90k original miles) in Devore ( San Berdo). He is not advertising and most likely has the plates. Give him a call and tell him Mark with the Comanche refered you. His name is John at 909-534-7891. It may be a couple days before you hear back from him if you get voicemail. P.S., the MJ has a D44 if anyone is interested.
  19. So what is the story behind this video? Who, what , where , why, & when?
  20. So are you saying your Zone Amigo spoke English fluently. As Napoleon Dynamite would say, " Luckee".
  21. If it's 2dr you can't use the door panels but the seats are like gold because they fold forward. The dash can be a PITA if you never removed one before but the gauge cluster is fairly simple. Detach the speedo cable at the transmission and frame clip so you can take it or at least have slack to pull the cluster. The black 3 spoke steering wheels are nice but don't lose any small parts as you remove it. And PLEASE spell question correctly. You're killin' me Smalls.
  22. If it hasn't been moved after 72 hours, you might be able to claim "Squatters Rights" according to ancient law.
  23. I haven't done the swap but I believe the 95 is higher HP so you might need the 95 ECU to go with it. If not, someone will correct me.
  24. Not sure what year the dual diafram brake booster came out but if it has one, I'd grab it ( w/mc ).
  25. Check your fuses and fuse terminals on the panel. Sometimes a cleaning and tightening of the terminals can resolve gremlins. Also check your electrical connection below the left tail assembly.
