  1. 4 door and another member mentioned using the inner passenger side wipe flipped around to fit the outer driver's door, since the inners are generally in better condition.

  3. You won't find 3.07 gears in a ZJ, unless you find one of the EXTREMELY rare 1993s with a 5-speed. That was the only year Jeep offered a manual transmission in the ZJ. All others are automatic and will have either 3.54s or 3.73s. I thought this was unusual. http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/3020282650.html

  5. I don't see anything wrong with the windshield and I want your Hankooks.
  6. My local Autozone had a 100 amp for the Renix 2.5 available in re-man or new.
  7. One of each for me!!
  8. Saw this on San Diego CL ad. http://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/cto/3063304350.html
  9. I see, said the blind man, when he picked up his hammer and saw!
  10. I always thought the XJ wheelbase was the same as a swb MJ. Why is the D/S a foot shorter with the same transmission?
  11. 10-4 on the spot-welds. I'll do the removal in July and if the left-overs can cover your needed patches, sinkrun, I'll be glad to cut and send the patch metal to you for shipping cost only.
  12. I'd like to remove the exterior side panels from the bed of the '86 but have never done any type of body work before. I have cutting wheels and a sawzall but I do not want to hack the panel up. I want clean cuts or prefer to keep the entire panel as intact as possible. Any words of wisdom from experienced members are welcome. FYI: I will be using the lower section between the front of the bed (driver side) and the wheel well to patch damage on the Street Comanche. I have a buyer for both top rails from front to back and 8" in height. The rest is left-overs. Image Not Found
  13. I don't have pics but the consoles are essentially the same. You will need pad & carpet underneath or there will be gaps along the bottom edges of the console. The E-brake slot can be left alone or plugged with a plastic insert like the Comanche consoles.
  14. There is a tension bolt beneath the P/S reservoir behind/below the pulley. Remove the air box and auxiliary fan for easy access to the bolt and to the anchor nut the bolt rides through. Test your belt tension or use the rough rule-of-thumb by twisting the belt at the long span between pulleys. 90 degrees is your goal. Less is too tight and past 90 is too loose. Also, clean all the grooved pulleys out with a wire brush or pick to get any rubber build-up.

    WRAPPED MJ

That's a great security system. A) Nobody would ever steal it. B) If they were drunk enough to steal it, it would be easy to find.
  16. The 87 had the Peugeot BA/10 transmission and the 89 had that or the AX15 transmission. It's pretty much a bolt in but you need the transmission mount and crossmember if it's AX15.
  17. You need the complete set-up from the MJ and since the rail is attached to the floor brackets, just use the whole floor bracket to mount your seats. Either modify the bench floor brackets or find some MJ bucket seat brackets.

I can just picture 'jimoshel' saying goodnight to all his trucks, like the closing scene of " The Waltons ".

  23. Whew! From the title, I thought you were going to post about getting up to pee. :wrench:
  24. It could also be a short somewhere or even the fuse panel itself if you have a stick shift. The clutch M/C can leak brake fluid behind the panel, wreaking gremlin havoc.
  25. Well I guess I'll keep looking but I have yet to see a 97-01 for sale in the San Diego area. It doesn't have to have every bell & whistle but power windows and locks would be nice. Thanks for the info guys!
