Yeah, all of us old b@$t4rds keep one in our contacts. By 28 I was already dealing with high blood pressure, so I had one. Another piece of unsolicited advice, find a doc you like. It's worth the effort. And for me, I have had better luck with a PA, they seem to listen better.

My primary thought is it's probably best to get a real diagnosis instead of relying on your "fake internet friends". I would be concerned about some underlying condition. As a 32+ year Fire/EMS responder, I have seen a lot of people with bad results due to alcohol. I also have quite a bit of wreckage in my family. It may be something else, but you have too much to look forward to, don't ignore it.

I really like that size tire, large enough to get over stuff, but still not so big that it affects the handling too much.

Not to be Debbie Downer, but different doesn't mean better. Look at the AMC 20. Same center section, but there are at least 3 versions, with different levels of apparent strength. The CJ AMC 20 was notorious for it's two piece axles, thin weak tubes and plug welds. But the center section is actually stronger than the Dana 44 Center Section, with a larger ring gear and bearings. The Full Size Jeep AMC 20 is apparently stronger than the Dana 44, with it's larger ring gear and thicker tubes, but still has the same plug weld design. And then there is the MJ AMC 20. I would guess it probably has thicker axle tubes, but who knows what AMC was thinking then. Who knows what level of incomplete the Dana 35 was delivered at, and how AMC finished it.

Remember, that's sticker price, it's pretty common to pay less. Off the top of my head, I paid almost 15% less than sticker for my wife's 2019 Subaru CrossTrek.

1987 Base 2wd 5 speed, Colorado Red, Tan interior, no stripes. Not running, but cranks good for $1200. Appeared to have sat for 8 years, carpets had been lifted and very little rust on the floorpans. Good paint for a Northern California truck. A few minor dents. Was offered $2700 after I started driving it.

Changing tire size 1/2" wider wouldn't affect shock travel, your new noise is something else. And that's a really nice original Owner truck.

Me too! In our trucks at work, with 20+ drivers, the chances the steering wheel will be blocking gauges is probably 50 - 50.

I doubt it. I tend to focus on the job, and not taking photos. It was about 2008, I will see what I can find.

Not here, but that's not unusual for us. A white Christmas is really rare, at 59, I remember just a few. We did have some snow fall, but it melted as it hit the ground. I have pushed snow with the bumper of my F-350 on 35's, too. I helped deliver Christmas to the needy that year, chains on all corners of the F-550 work truck.
