  1. I would buy that in a minute. I wonder what the tire, wheel hubcap combo is, I think it would look good on my Comanche. Wonder if it's Stockton?
  2. Better than nothing, in my world, that's for reloading my pocket, though. You do get weird looks when you pull them out to use for something else.
  3. Right front: Case Small Stockman pocket knife, Kershaw Amplitude lock blade clipped to the inside of the pocket, may have some loose change Right rear: badly worn out wallet, always empty Left rear: nothing, unless I've happened to pick up some paper trash Left front: house keys, work keys and 2 pair of nitrile EMS gloves Cell Phone could be in a sweater or coat pocket, or on my desk, or on my dash, not really sure I care. Does nobody else have a pair of gloves?
  4. Not sure it really matters, they are both pretty much bulletproof. If I were choosing, I could see swapping in a T-19, 4 usable gears are better than 3.
  5. I bet he still wears 4 polo shirts with popped collars, too.
  6. That's in really nice shape.
  7. Nope. Most everyone here likes a tach. No Worries
  8. Seems to me, that's more of a wall hanger than a wearer. So does size really matter? May be just me, though.
  9. It can be helpful. Like I said, I am going to swap a full gauge cluster into mine. My point was, depending on your gauge setup now, you will need to change other things, too. But you will learn to shift by feel/sound really quickly, so it's really not that big a deal.
  10. I am a big fan of a tach, but that's a full cluster swap. I have the stuff to swap mine, but it takes a little more than just swapping in the cluster. Sending units will also need swapped.
  11. @JeepcoMJHow do you know for sure it's a T-19? I have had 3 of them, 2 Ford diesels and the rare 5.11 first gear version. As near as I can tell, externally they are identical to the T-18.
  12. What transmission was in the diesel, I see it's a 5 speed. Probably the BA10-5? Same color as my Comanche, interior and exterior.... Never mind, $1000 round trip worth of fuel to go get it to my house, a week of my time....
  13. Better than the alternative...
  14. They are great, but Nope. Never really cared for Pantera.
  15. That is freaking' AWESOME! Thanks
  16. Do what you want. Those pieces are available. @BeaterComanche86Thanks for the video.

And honest. Not that there's anything wrong with wanting another.
  18. I'm getting ready to send my '87 in for a windshield, and I intend to use the late model seal. I was told the current metal trim is hard to find. Would it be worthwhile for me to remove it myself? How do you remove it without destroying it? What's it worth, if I can save it all?

I second that. I have built a couple, I think you need to drive one for a while before you can really know what you want.
  20. Christmas Peace on Earth or Goodwill to Man?
  21. Yeah. And it doesn't look like anyone builds a camper that fits a Comanche any more. I used to have a full size truck camper, but my wife has knee and hip problems, using the cab-over bed was too hard for her. The trailer just can't get where I took my camper.
  22. OK. If one of AX-15 shift levers can help, let me know. I'm a while from making the swap, and I think I may keep a spare. My son's Cherokee has an AX-15, too.
  23. I bet that handles well...
  24. I have 2 AX-15s sitting in my garage. I doubt my BA10 will be worth less without a lever. The AX-15 and the BA10 Shift lever are the same?
  25. I have an extra set of 5 in pretty good shape, shipping is probably more than the wheels are worth, though.
