    To be clear, this truck is NOT getting a 97+ front end swap. The front fenders were trimmed for my new front bumper.

    My younger brother is building a step side Jeep J10 with my help. It has a working 4 wheel drive system and a complete engine. Here are some pics.

    From the top of the frame to the center of the top of the cab is about 44 inches give or take a quarter. If I were you though, I would cut the frame off be behind the cab and build a tube frame to match the wheelbase, get you desired height, and make something stronger.

    Over the past few days I got a lot done. 8.8 is in (and out again for sandblasting). Got a nicer hood. Did some rust repair and bodywork.

    Pics of the Dynamat installed. On the trans tunnel, both floors, and back of the cab. Also ordered a new vinyl floor covering.

    Just put in some Dynamat sound deadener to make it more pleasant to drive when it is done.

    I am just bending up a piece that will fit, then welding it in place. I have a sheet metal brake at my disposal, so I can make precise bends.

    Got the new floors pans and rocker welded in on the driver side. Now I need to fix the passenger side floor.
