    @500 MJ, how familiar are you with PDC? I am not very familiar with the area and, because you also are in Wisconsin, I figured you would the the most likely to be familiar with the area. I ask because, I do not know a good place to meet up.

    The show I am talking about is called Mississippi Mayhem. It is September 13th and 14th. It is at the La Crosse County Fairgrounds. It is just off I90.

    Today I got the bed painted and put Chassis Saver on the spots on the back of the frame that had surface rust and on the whole fuel tank.

    Slughtly unrelated, and correct me if I am wrong, but I throught all Eliminators has D44s and I thought the Eliminator package started in 89.

    I would look into getting an 8.8 with 3.73 gears. Then you get better highway gears and a stronger rear end.

    The trans is NOT an AX15. The AX15 came behind 4.0s in the later half of 89. I’m not sure about the crossmember, but I doubt you’ll need a new one if you will go with another AX5. You will need the driveshafts too. You could probably do this , but easy is a relative term. If you have a lot of experience (it sounds like you do), then yes, it would be easy.

    Thank you! My family had a YJ that color a couple of years ago, but it got too rusty so we did an engine swap into a nicer white YJ, which eventually became this one:
