    My little bro just made a matching Cherokee Chief as a trail rig to pull on his trailer behind this.

    My thoughts on putting a 242 in (or just AWD in general). If if you have your vehicle in AWD mode, it is already at full traction. The problem with this is if your are stuck, then you are STUCK. However, if you get stuck with your MJ in 2wd, you have a fighting chance of getting it out in 4wd. Just my 2 cents though.

    A Ford Explorer Sport Trac is great. Still has drums so you don’t need to change you master cylinder and it is wider than the regular Explorer rear end.

    You are awesome parents. I too got my MJ when I was 14, I’m 15 now, I had to use my own money to buy and build mine and I don’t regret it. I hope your son loves his too!
