    Got the passenger bed side buffed and body work on the hood is started. Trying to have it at the Holmen Korn Fest car show next Sunday.

    You do need all of that stuff for the winter! It makes it easier to driver throught the snow (maybe), but it also is theft protection. What thief would try to steal a Comanche on 37s?!?

    With the help of my parents and little brother, the interior is finished and the bumper, grille and header panel are on! Tomorrow is new rod bearings to fix the knocking. More pics tomorrow of how it is currently. And the mirrors are painted and installed.

    It also helps that my dad has been helping me a lot through the process and that he owns a hot rod shop.

    Front end is undercoated.

    Rear axle is installed, taillights are installed, the seat and vinyl flooring is in, and front suspension is now removed.

    Are you still looking? I’m kicking around the idea of mine when it is done. I am near La Crosse, WI. It it is an 89 shortbed with a 5-speed, but it won’t be very cheap.

    Axles/suspension/bumpers painted, tires mounted and balanced, and bed has a Raptor Spary in bed liner now.

    That’s comparing apples to oranges. Of course there are more early Mustangs and Chevelles-they made more of them. You just need to keep your eye out and and be a little lucky. Good of luck on your search!

    Thanks! Got the tailgate painted and the hood of times yesterday. Another update is coming tomorrow about what I did today because I failed you guys and forgot to take pictures.
