Solid axle swap time! no sense in making your daily driver a wheeling rig though. At least until you get a daily driveable MJ.

The way I look at it, if you are going to do it, you might as well do it and replace stuff while it is relatively easy. In my case, the engine was out too, so it wasn’t much work.

We had a 2wd S10 for a while. When we would get a snow/ice combo on our driveway (it’s a steep rural driveway), there were days the S10 could not get up it. And my dad grew up driving a 2wd V8 S10 with a 4 speed and a V8 4 speed swapped 81 El Camino.

This isn't limited just to WI, MN, IA members, but would anyone be interested in doing a meet and greet in the spring? Kinda to celebrate getting our trucks out of winter storage (for us that park our trucks).
