  1. I need to get it running first, but maybe I'll be able to make a trip out your way next year. Or maybe 2022.
  2. The Ugly Trucking only has 82,000 to hit that mark. My 97 XJ only needed 87,000 to hit that mark. Sadly, the XJ got scrapped (it was really rusty) and I will probably sell the Ugly Truckling before it hits 400k. I would love to hit 400k on the blue truck though!
  3. I mean, you can at least make sure that your pictures aren't blurry, the truck is cleaned off/out, and the truck isn't sinking in the ground. That rear bumper is beautiful though.
  4. Well, if you find your way out towards us come spring time, please let us know, even if you are in a Subaru (side note, did you know that Subaru backwards is U R A Bus? )
  5. I would be willing to bet that that truck was not from GA originally, based on the rust. It says that it needs brake work too. That seems like a lot of money for a project truck.
  6. You do make a good point, but IMHO, painting a tailgate would make it no longer NOS, similar to putting a tire on an NOS wheel, even if it is never installed, I wouldn't call that wheel NOS.
  7. What color did you end up going with? It looks similar to the color of mine.
  8. Perhaps it is an issue with the cable. Maybe buy another one and try it. If that doesn't fix it, you should be able to return it.
  9. Huh. I am all out of ideas then.
  10. On my truck (granted, it was with an 8.8 swap), we cut off all of the brackets and just used the stock MJ shock mounts on the U-bolt mounting plate.
  11. I am looking forward to hitting 200k in my MJ. I have about 37,000 miles to go.
  12. Wait a minute, they want 3 grand for a truck that needs a motor, has a smashed tailgate, and has (probably) had a poor repaint (based on the fender badge location)?
  13. @eaglescout526, I think it is time for you to join the club. On a serious note, that price seems steep for one that has been painted. Also, I wonder why it has the hinges on it. I am looking at my NOS one now and it doesn't have the hinges. It seems like it has definitely been used some too. It could be shelf wear, but I would be willing to be that this tailgate was an early takeoff, not NOS.
  14. I don't know if I want to play with the Renix harness more than I have. For now, the current one is OK. I have time to make a decision.
  15. Have you considered going with the 97+ washer tank inside the fender? Frees up a lot of space under the hood. I have, but I like how I can see exactly how much fluid is in the tank.
  16. I would check Rock Auto if I were you, that is where I have gotten most of my parts from for my truck.
  17. Here is a link to the registry post for this truck, thanks to @jdog for the build sheet and telling me it has an 02 sensor recall.
  18. Thank you! There are a few things I want to replace down the road (windshield washer bottle, fan shroud, air box to throttle body air thing), but I am happy with it for now.
  19. Cool! I was told that this one ran before the fuel tank was removed, but

    Thank you!
  21. Thank you! It’s slowly getting there. Thanks! Nothing better than a clean engine bay. Thank you!
  22. Some eye candy for you!
  23. I crawled under it. It does have a modified crossmember. Must be the same truck.
