  1. She came back around front. I had to tap the existing nuts in the frame to get the skid plate to fit. I found these lights in storage too.
  2. Those look right at home on there
  3. To me, it looks like scratches caused by the door opening too far/not being adjusted right.
  4. It doesn’t look like MT springs to me. I’d do the AAL. I have a write up on a DIY AAL in tech
  5. Perhaps this idea could be used across For Sale, Wanted, and the Not Your Stuff section, to keep parts and whole rigs separate there too.
  6. What is your location and how much are you looking to spend? I have a good project in WI that I will be selling.
  7. Dang rust belt ! In all of my time being an MJ owner, I believe that I have only seen 3 (aside from mine) in my lifetime. 2 of them on the road, 1 in a parking lot.
  8. Is your truck a metric ton? Please post a pic of your current leaf springs.
  9. Sportruck-a base with decals. SWB only. Ran 87-92 Renix: HO: (By the way, @Minuit, I’m borrowing this picture for this thread) Pioneer-more options than a base, but still pretty basic. Ran 87-92 Renix: ( @eaglescout526‘s truck) HO: ( @kryptronic‘s truck) Eliminator-top trim, SWB only, buckets, 2wd only in 88-89. Ran 88-92. Renix: ( @neohic‘s truck) HO: (borrowed from @Red Mistress) Chief-87/88 only, top trim, SWB only @87Chief's truck. Laredo-Top LWB trim. Maybe 87-89 (Correct me on this). LWB Only And then there was the funkiness in 86. In terms of grilles, there was the boring old 8 slot, the 10 slot, the 21 slot, the SC one, the Wagoneer grille, and the HO 8 slot. I think that covers all of them. I don’t know anything about the years other than the HOs were 91/92 only.
  10. I could get behind this, but my only concern would be people putting things in the wrong section by accident.
  11. Post up some pics so we can see what you are talking about. We might have some advice.

    Sheesh (#3,247)

My grandfather had gout pretty bad sometimes. Occasionally, he couldn’t even get his shoes on.

  15. 4x4 SporTruck You should paint your motor AMC blue. They look great that way.
  16. Oh this is going to be good.
  17. I knew all of the lyrics to that song when I was 3 and 4. I had a high quality childhood.
  18. Good eyes guys! I didn’t even look that close. I was suspicious of the lack of badges, but that was it.
  19. Wow! The Eliminator is huge!
  20. Thanks for finding that!
  21. I bought a really rough 90 a few weeks ago (that I parted out) for $375. Decent interior, decent tails, AX-15, and a topper. I think the prices for these nice trucks is going up quickly. My guess would be because the people who had them as first vehicles or just have fond memories in them (in general, lets say people 30+) are getting to a point that they have some money that they can have fun with.

I think the Laredo moldings would complete the look FWIW
  23. https://hickory.craigslist.org/cto/d/hickory-1989-jeep-comanche/7284905793.html This truck sold at Barrett Jackson a few years ago. I'm curious as to how much it brought then. Again, in my head, the price seems high, but I don't think it is super far off for what the market has become on these trucks. I think it would probably sell for $15,000. Look closely at the header panel. It looks like it is a 91-96 header panel.
  24. https://altoona.craigslist.org/ctd/d/tire-hill-1989-jeep-comanche-pioneer/7286184461.html The price on this one seems a little steep, but I don't think its as far off as we all think it is. When I do my searches, I am seeing more and more of these trucks for high prices like this. I'm curious as to what the market is going to do in the next few years. I do think it is a nice looking truck, aside from the bottoms of the doors.
