  1. We are hoping so!
  2. This car is probably getting a 6.0 and a 4L80. The only rust is in the trunk floor, outer wheelhouses, and quarters. It’s even got factory AC.
  3. There is a long story with this car. My dad traded some labor for it 12ish years ago. We are very close with the person he got it from. We put an SBC/TH350 in it, but never made it driveable. About 5 years ago, he sold it. He instantly regretted it. Well, we were finally able to get it back, with a parts car an a bunch more parts last Sunday. The car was in a semi trailer for 35 years. Pictures of before we sold it. Now (and the parts and parts car) The good car ^
  4. Oh boy, I’m a little special, aren’t I? https://comancheclub.com/topic/59405-88-eliminator-junkyard-gem/?tab=comments#comment-610295
  5. I have an air cleaner off of a Scout that says “Comanche 4” on it.
  6. I'm not sure what it would cost to rebuild the pump but: http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=83186 You might be able to get it done fairly inexpensively too, since you seem to be in junkyards quite a bit. I also see that @Sir Sam is on that forum. He may be able to provide some information too.
  7. Read through the 2nd page of this thread. It looks like you and @Vakarian had similar amounts of damage.
  8. Have you made any more progress on your truck?
  9. Are you getting power to the pump? What about before the fuel hits the filter, are you getting fuel there?
  10. I don't think there is a question here. I think this truck deserves to be fixed. Use car-part.com and collect the needed parts to fix it. Even buy an XJ if you have to. Remember, these old trucks are like legos. They were built to be fixed by a regular person. There aren't any specialty tools needed to do this, and you could probably do it in your driveway/garage/yard in a week or so if you work on it during nights and weekends.

Wow! That thing looks clean! Unless it was swapped in, you would have an AX-5, not an AX-15. What are the plans with it?
  12. Mmmmmmmmm, supercharger. I like it.
  13. Dang WI! We are supposed to get snow for a couple more hours (it’s been light to this point and is supposed to stay light). The plow truck just went by dropping a bunch of salt, straight salt. I was hoping to get my MJ about soon, but I guess now it’s sitting for a week at least or until we get a rain.
  14. If you want inexpensive, you need to DIY. I have some bodywork and rust repair tips in the DIY section!
  15. I moved it! Still no clutch or brakes, but at least it runs (sometimes).
  16. All J20s were LWBs. Honchos were only J10 SWBs the ad is wrong.
  17. Big lift and tires will only exaggerate your issues.
  18. That would be fun to have!
  19. Found it! https://comancheclub.com/topic/63370-good-replacement-for-renix-relay-cover-retainers/?tab=comments#comment-684174
  20. @JMO413found a solution. Let me try to find the thread. It was just bumped recently.
  21. I was surprised at how much it cleaned up the front.
