Definitely check for resistance everywhere including ground post to body on the MJ itself. Sure it shows you getting full 12v but as soon as it calls for a load, the voltage won’t be enough to meet the demand.

Front liners are still available new from Chrysler. But the front mud guards are not. Not sure how that makes sense but hey! I don’t run a multi billion dollar mistake.

I hope the VB1 recall for the EGR cooler has been done. Actually I don’t remember what years the VB1 was for. I just remember the EGR coolers for the 3.0L being an issue.

Now I just need a new bulb for the other lamp and we will have some Marchals.

New male connector in and we have, drum roll please! FOG LAMPPPSSS! Woohoo! Male connector has been replaced and it was wayyy worse off than the other. Ignore the pan I need to put the screws back in the grill since I solved my problem.

Hopefully it works. One person who bought one kit is having trouble with his and we can’t figure out what the issue is and he’s swapped most parts around. My biggest fear is something with the custom vac harness but even then all the fittings are snug so I am at an impasse as to what the underlying issue is. But do let me know and we can figure out if something doesn’t work as I’ve got back ups and back ups of parts but not enough for more kits.

New female connector is in with brand new terminals Plan to do the other one tonight and the placement of this connector is the worst, I can’t even test the terminals to make sure they all have power. Guess we will have trial by fire. The old connector melted at what looks like the headlamp power and fog lamp power wires.

Oh yeah. I forget they are a thing. My cousin tried suggesting to me to do a lift on mine and make it a prerunner.

Actually according to the catalog only a D44 with a 4.09 ratio could be had w/out the locking diff. 3.54 with a locking diff

So....curiosity got the best of me and I decided to peruse my NOS wiring harnesses I got a while back and to my surprise I had a harness that had the connector I was after. Actually two harnesses lol. Now I don't want to call the search off just because I found one, I don't want to leave a harness without a connector. So woohoo! And the terminals came in today so I plan to hopefully have the headlamp harness functional again. @Dzimm. How possible would it be to replicate these connectors?

Eh that’s about the right price. It’s under list by about $5. So they are trying to make some money back from their purchase.

Hopefully. I think the new motors from Chrysler would’ve included a paper in regards to the update but that info is probably lost. Unless I can find it in the service library.

There’s a TSB out there on the wiper motors. Chrysler during the HO years made a new motor and plug for it and continued to make the Renix ones until they passed the Renix ones out of service with the HO ones. So they said to basically splice the new plug on.
