the truck is worth whatever someone will pay for it  But it reallly depends on rust/mileage/year/location/options. the fact that its a 4 banger makes it less valuable, but if you paid 400 for it, you didnt get ripped off.

1988 "four Wheel Driving Is Fun In A Jeep" Music Video

 that song will be stuck in my head for a long time. Awesome video -
go tigers! So happy that the damn yankees are gone. But sorry to say Pete but if history repeats itself, the cards are going to win it all. The Braves (my team) have been eliminated by the champ in each of the past 2 seasons. So, the cards are lining up for the Cards! But if the Tigers won, Id be happy too, Verlander grew up about an hour from my house so naturally I'm a big fan

can't go wrong with any model Leatherman. They are great tools. My dad has had the same one for probably 20+ years and I plan on having both of mine for just as long at least. They have many different models with different tools and different sizes so do some research but they are the best

are there specific places in the firewall that tend to leak more often? or does it vary and i just need to get a closer look myself

Who Wants A Comanche Club Can Coozie? (They're Here!!)
86customanche replied to Pete M's topic in The Pub
I was just starting to wonder what was happening with these things. Terrible news Pete, sorry to hear. I want to be doing some of this  instead of :fs1:  -
agreed. Not enough info to really give a good number. However, with that low of miles, assuming they are original, the price will go up. the 2wd and 4cyl will bring the price down. From the little info you have provided, id say somewhere in the 3k range isnt rediculous. It also depends on location as some parts of the world will ahve higher MJ prices. Lots of variables here

popping and grinding are symptoms. But being broken doesnt mean its undriveable. Its possible for a few teeth to be broken, and it will 'pop' every time those teeth get around. Just take a wrench and open it up to inspect. Its not hard, just a little messy with all the gear oil.
-
I hope to find time to get her inspected. That is more that just taking it to the shop. The list includes: replacing the parking brake pedal, moving the rear lisence plate so it can be seen with a light now that I've got the new bumper on, fix the door issue (whether thats cutting out the post and using a new one or just fixing it as is I'm not sure). Also would like to get the rest of the body pieces to do my 97+ front end upgrade. Still need header panel, fenders, hood and possibly doors (white if anyone has a lead).
-
Thanks. It wasnt too bad. As soon as I got it, I cut off all the old mounts and smoothed the tube down, made all the measurements for the jeep, and welded on the new perches. I kept it regular width, so it's a little wide, but works for my setup. I also had a friend do the gears for me, hes a mechanic so knew what he was doing. Havent had any complaints. Other than not having time to really work on any part of the truck in months.

Back Into An Mj Again!!!
86customanche replied to Naterenfo1's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
Looks like a good plan. As far as a fuel tank is concerned, I bought one off rockauto.com and havent had any complaints. Decent price for a pretty rare part. -

I always go to Advance unless its something they don't have, and Napa is usually the place to have it. Advance is the choice because is by far the closest to my house. 15 min, compared to 30 for autozone and 20-25 for Napa. Sucks living out in the country sometimes. Advance recognizes me sometimes, as I spend lots of time looking aroudn when I'm in there just in case I see something that I need but had forgotten about.

well damn. looks good.
