started welding in a new driver side floor. not done yet but so far attempt #3 is looking alright also my first world problem of the day was getting my ponytail stuck in the adjustment knob of my welding helmet. :/

slight update while wanting for parts, got a replacement non abs brake booster and master cylinder, and a spare fuel sender. also another tool box also I started my swap to 4:10's but turns out tj d30's have caster adjustment on them so I ordered new bolt because the originals one's snapped when I was pulling the axle. I'm still trying to find some cheap 15r 5x5.5 rims to mount my tires on so that it will fit the new rear 9.25

a concur for it being the axle, mine does the same with a 5 speed 4X4.

if theres no ac then yes there is room for a 3" inner cooler between the grill and the radiator I have nothing productive to add, but Mad-Max XJ = :D

Imagine a Fiat Renegade with a bed, that's probably what it would be in todays world. I've heard good things about that spintires game, no idea how accurately it handles, but still looks like a lot of fun. i played it in beta, and bought the game after it was released. the game play is a lot better than rigs of rods, the physics are better as are the persistent tire ruts. the only thing that bugs me about the game is the camera i can't ever seem to get it just how i want it, and most/all the vehicles don't have a good first person view. aside from the camera its a great game same, I also played the beta, never bought the game, I did however end up buying rig of rods successor Beamng.

my neighbour gave me this today for mowing their lawn, it's not 100% there's a latch or something that is not engaging because when you slide it over, it just moves back to the left without typing, either way I still think its cool even if all it ever does is decorate my shelf :P just from wikipedia I believe it's from the early 60's, but i'm not 100% sure if anyone knows anything about things feel free to let me know.

That makes a lot of sense. Aren't the 4.3's basically just a chopped down 5.7? The trucks I'm eyeballing have the MPFI conversion already done, if I'm not mistaken. They should be good to go assuming the transmission is in good condition, right? That's what some of the guys told me when I used to work for GM said.

that's pretty bad, it looks like that the front leaf mount has almost completely rusted away, i'm going to say your best bet is to find a rust free shell then transfer the drivetrain over. that is unless you're really handy with a grinder and a welder.
