Are you filling the expansion tank ? It's supposed to be roughly half full. Making sure you have a good cap/expansion tank is another good idea as some are just a junk design. Drilling a small hole at the top of the thermostat allows air to escape .

Misaligned brakes?
Strokermjcomanche replied to Wounded_Fighter's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
See how the boxed end are on opposite sides? If your brake pad number has a 477 in it it should look like this . Very easy to overlook... -
Misaligned brakes?
Strokermjcomanche replied to Wounded_Fighter's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
You have the pads on the opposite side , in petes picture you can see where if you had the boxed in side at the top the pads and caliper would have nowhere to go. -
There is also this for anyone in the future looking to reupholster their seat . It may be more or less than what the OP paid to have his done . https://www.google.com/shopping/product/17434435797009925603?q=raybuck+comanche+bench+seat&client=safari&sa=X&hl=en-us&biw=375&bih=559&tbs=vw:l,ss:44&prmd=sinv&prds=num:1,of:1,epd:10097231876498717381,paur:ClkAsKraX2aeC69ggq-_i-nTfE-Ind_Vv2X7w49hRI5915OEejBTrq_JplTZxFLVt8CSFN2xKNYx6VAlDKZPJPVwwM9hyekExmg355Zqwc_T0gv-bR-6BrrEoBIZAFPVH72iqZte6G7eGkrIIHteVWNQmApSlw,prmr:1,cs:1&ved=0ahUKEwi1xLbWpYvgAhUHMd8KHVxyAp8QgjYI3AI

I don't think there should be any sayings on the sticker , I think less is more . I think it's perfect Pete .

I don't know if this is an idea you were looking for, but how about sending (mailing ) a card around to members that want to sign the card ? I know it will take awhile , but it would be a lot more personalized .Everyone could write something about Don if they wanted . If everyone would post their zip code so the card could be sent in a logistical manner and it wouldn't take as much time to get to them .

My deepest condolences to the Hornbrook Family and friends . I and many others will definitely miss him , I always enjoyed our PMs , he was a great friend to talk Jeeps or anything else with . Rest in Piece Don

I have Milwaukee / dewalt / Ridgid/ryobi , there is no trap . If you are using multiple tools you can have multiple batteries , chargers etc , because you have to charge all those batteries anyhow ...
-
No trap with Ridgid batteries , lifetime warranty . I can tell when they are going to be done charging/ lock them so somebody else can't use them (or if they steal them they are a paperweight) and their tools carry a lifetime warranty as well .

Part No. and/or source needed

Dorman 918-251 is the original style cooler . Or you can use a piece of steel line , lose the quick connect fitting and clamp the trans hose . -
Adding power steering
Strokermjcomanche replied to 90MJ's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
87 MJ 2.5 before and after pics , I already had the hoses/box /reservoir and used a pump/pulley from a 90 wrangler with a 4.2 , had to shim the pump to make the belt line up correctly. -
No feedback ratings , it may be a scam . But if you pay in a way that you're guaranteed to get your money back , you gotta try . I have the milwaukee 1400lb version Impact and the 12.0 high demand battery or else I'd try too .

Seat Bracket Power to Manual
Strokermjcomanche replied to JeepFanactic's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Yes -
It's just a base model , no screen . I'm fine with using one of the rear view monitors that replace the rear view mirror if need be . I know the limited version came with with a camera ,but I'm getting conflicting results if I can install everything in a base model.
