Melting from heat , and being not structurally sound

It was posted on a Facebook Comanche group , I just happened to be the first to respond. The guy lives in Canada and met me in Michigan because he's attending the autorama . 7 hour round trip but it was worth it.

I doubt that will ever happen , won't be enough needs to support them getting remade .

There are 6 or 7 extra drain plugs that you can use that are towards the rear of the cab .

Long overdue update : Ive put about 7k miles on total , it normally sits during the winter because I don't want it to rust away . Other than changing oil and normal maintenance I haven't had to do anything to it besides change the rotted muffler today . I plan on using the old carpet in my 87 and buying new carpet for this truck . The floors still look great ... Just waiting for the carpet so I can get it in as I'll be driving to Michigan on the first of march to get parts the seller won't ship .

He sold basically everything, iirc he doesn't own any MJs anymore. I think he still has some parts though.

You're best to PM him , I don't recall if he has them anymore or not .

Could be TPS or transmission control unit , also could have bad transmission solenoids (you can ohm them out to see if they are bad ) . Obviously there is a slew of other issues that it could be ,but being that it has happened to me before that's where I Would look first .

Those do look like the 4/1 MT springs , unless someone added a leaf .

I believe the rod is too long . The 95/96 XJ booster or WJ booster are the good swaps

Has anyone wired in a trailer harness ? If so check for broken/corroded wires there . Also check the plug for the rear harness for corrosion.
