  1. I know the newer lock cylinders are different . There either bigger or smaller I can't remember . But if the holes are too small you can file the hole to fit the cylinders .
  2. Nice lol
  3. All I can say is WOW.
  4. That took some engineering . I like it .
  5. There's a couple nos ones on eBay now if youre still looking 45 bucks for the pair
  6. Ok We can go with how many swb 86s have you seen ? The grill can be changed as can the emblems . The bed on the other hand would take quite a bit of work to to shorten to appear to be a sb
  7. It doesn't have the italicized comanche emblems . Unless they were changed you can definitely rule out it's a 86 as yellaheep said .
  8. I swapped in the 95 column along with everything else from the xj in my 89 mj . It's nice having the cruise but the airbag looks like it doesn't belong in the mj lol. I can send you some pics if you'd like .
  9. You can buy a lower shaft seal kit at your local parts store for around 20 bucks. You don't have to even remove the box .But If you have any play or excessive wear on the shaft itself the repair isn't probably going to last long .
  10. Do you have access to a air bleeder or a pressure bleeder ? I would try that next after you adjust the rears to eliminate that as a possible problem .
  11. Did you bleed the all the brakes at the same time ? Right rear ,left rear , right front , left front? How did you go about eliminating the load sensing valve ? Are you using a different distribution valve?
  12. There's one on eBay I'll get you a link a little later .
  13. We had a neighbor that thought she owned everyones house in the neighborhood . We don't have an HOA . She would put complaints in anyones mailbox of what she didn't approve of their house. Needless to say someone in the neighborhood put 50 pink flamingos in her yard one night and put a stop to her holier than thou attitude.
  14. I will be taking both trucks with me . One Is an 89 white mj and the other is my black truck that will be in the heritage museum . Where are you in Ohio? What are you taking ? Maybe we can meet up?
  15. Only 87s came without them, and if a customer complained about fuel pump noise, there was a retrofit kit the dealer installed.
  16. You're implying they all have them ?
  17. The 87s I owned didn't . As cruiser posted it could be retrofitted with one if some one complained about the pump being loud.
  18. No worries ftpierce . I had to learn that also .
  19. 87 didn't have the resistor . It started in 88 . There noisy, but how noisy ? I've heard mine for as long as it's been in the truck (5 years ?) but it functions well
  20. Ok thanks for the explanation . But the sender itself would be helpful . It wouldn't have to be cut to fit the pump . He'd have to acquire the wiring though
  21. When did I mention a inline pump ? Can't you reverse wires to make the sender read correctly ?
  22. I have a lwb h.o. 23 gallon sender in "ok" shape if you need one
  23. Jeepco he allready had an electronic fuel pump that failed . He mentioned it earlier in the post .
