  1. If that's the problem I would definetely replace atleast the cap and rotor, if not also the plugs and wires . I assume you cleaned them for diagnostic purposes ?
  2. Your money , your choice . Just make sure that you check to see if there are any others out there to choose from and that this on IS in good shape .
  3. Depending on where youre getting the calipers from core charges are around 8 bucks a side . If you need to cut or ruin the caliper do it . The new calipers will come with the slide pins and hardware. If you cut the Caliper down the center it will slide off the slides and then you can grab them with vice grips . Try what's above first unless you don't have access to a welder.
  4. The nice thing about our trucks is you don't need to drop the tank or remove the bed to access the sender. 2 fuel lines, a lock ring and a plug and it's out . Just make sure that you have a half tank or less or else gas will come pouring out .
  5. Caster should be around 7.5 degrees if not more . Camber and caster should be equal on both sides (even if measurements are within specs ) . And there should be a (roughly an 1/8th) of toe in . that being said I'm Leary of those bushings and I would double check to make sure nothing is loose ( ball joints , bushings , track bar, tie rod ends , etc )
  6. Never seen those before, except on ford vans and trucks . They should have used offset ball joints . My guess is that when those camber / caster bushings were installed , not only did it change your camber but it put your caster out of spec . Do you have an printout of your alignment?
  7. If you need a fuel sender there are several on eBay . Being yours is an 86 it has a carb so those are easier to come by . They are buy it now for around a $100
  8. I had a guy that worked at Auto zone ask me " what kinda bed I used to make my cherokee into a truck ?" Needless to say when I need parts he's not the first person I see lol.
  9. What color interior do you have?
  10. It was me , 2 of my friends , and their girlfriends . We were at the bar , we all drove separate There were checkpoints everywhere and they didn't want dui's .The girls sat on top of the guys.It wasn't a fun drive but we made it . I wouldn't never plan on doing it again .
  11. I've had 5 in mine !! But I wouldn't recommend it , at least they weren't huge and my truck is auto lol.
  12. Pretty sure JohnQ means the black peice below the level sensor on the return line that "touches" the tank . P.s I'll buy that sender if it's for sale !! Lol
  13. Suction pump ? Just a thought .
  14. Go to a jy and pull them off a damaged axle .
  15. The dealer has them for around 4 bucks a piece . Or maybe your local hardware store
  16. The man upstairs was taking care of you by keeping your neighbor home that day . Take care of yourself.... And speedy recovery .
  17. The Dude: I plan on cutting it up to fit my swb if I can't find / trade for one that's already a swb bar . If you have a factory bar and this deal doesn't work out , I'd love to trade . Thanks Adam
  18. I have a long bed rollbar and would trade for yours . But shipping is probably going to be a dealbreaker
  19. I've got a nice set of two door xj grey seats with the bolsters in my basement waiting to go in my other mj as soon as I find another set of brackets .
  20. Yeah, years ago it took me a couple tries to get it right . The nice part is when you switch to the bolts instead of the rivets you can just change the brackets out in half the time.
  21. Drill out the second picture . I replaced the rivets with grade 8 1/4 bolts and nuts . Then you can replace the bucket brackets with the bench brackets .
  22. I will find out where it was sold but he might not tell me who he sold it to . I'm 25 minutes away from daveys and bought one of my trucks from him .
