  1. grey is the most common interior color for XJs in the early 90s. shouldn't be hard to score some.
  2. figures. I kinda wish the software would highlight things I can see as admin so I know others can't.
  3. did I miss this in the thread? I think I might suggest new belts to the owner of the truck I'm working on.
  4. my dream truck right there.
  5. it would appear you did vote on April 22nd. clicking here, I see your name at the bottom.
  6. I don't think I can do that since what you're seeing is all the categories of different groups (which have different posting rules) rather than a list I added to the search. In our context, "All" should be the same as "non-guests" because guests can't post (but they are a category of group and so show up in that list). I'll look into it though.
  7. are those screen shots of our search? guests can't post and the default should be that everything is checked already. but as admin, my pages look a bit different than everyone else so I can never be sure what you guys see.
  8. in junkyard trucks I've found much of them to be from the "random screw jar" they kept in the garage.
  9. should be right above the very first post in this thread
  10. I gave it some serious thought but can't figure out how to get it in the corner without drilling a new big hole somewhere in the cowl. it's super tight and awkward. inside the cab (where the rust is) has been sanded down, repainted and will get por-15 over that. it's a GA truck so I'm comfortable I won't have to revisit it later.

    was on facebook.
  12. heck yeah!
  13. well, I sprayed as best I could. in the coming days I'll find out if I was successful.
  14. mine is on the other side of this seem above the hvac hole (where the rust is):
  15. pulled the hood for better access and it only kind of worked. right inside the steel that the toothbrush is pointing at is the leak coming from the cowl and into the cab. unfortunately there's a steel support inside that is really annoying and blocking good access. I can touch the corner inside with the toothbrush so I was thinking of scrubbing it as best I can and then hosing the joint down with flexseal coming out of a straw aimed from inside the truck towards that corner. thoughts?
  16. they are all thirsty v8s. I imagine the 6.0 would get a bit less than the others because it was found in the bigger trucks? just a guess though. but if you're at all thinking of MPGs, remind yourself that that's not why you're swapping in a giant engine into a tiny truck.
  17. my philosophy with complicated electrical problems is to start fixing everything that is known to be wrong and see what happens.
  18. back in the 80s OG stood for "original gangsta" and was a "term of endearment" for the various guys that started Rap music. but it has since been adopted by society at large to simply mean someone that was there at the beginning. click on this and it'll take you there: https://comancheclub.com/topic/59858-roll-call-original-owners/
  19. it inserts words from a particular post into your post.
  20. clicking on your profile should bring up your last few posts. are you using a phone or a laptop?
