Hadn’t used the trailer in a while so I decided to knock the cobwebs off the past couple of days

Radiator had split down the side. Put in a new one and 2 days later the water pump locked up🤬 all is good now and its running like a top

Finally got to use it last night. Worked out great and was very stable. Got an unexpected rain storm through the night and everything stayed dry. On the way home the xj overheated. It was pouring steam out from under the hood🙃 was able to limp it home but it sounded terrible

Picked up a spare tire mount at Lowe’s yesterday. Got bored so i went ahead and mounted it in the rain. Lol I think it turned out alright.

Thanks! I’ve wanting to do it for years and finally bit the bullet. The tent I actually got a pretty good deal on. Caught it on sale on amazon and got it for $800

Finally made a little more progress. Got my low pro rack delivered and received the tent a few weeks back. Was able to get off early enough to put it all together.

Finally got new shoes put on. Broke one wheel stud🤦‍♂️

Wheels came in today while i was at work! Matched the ones on the xj perfectly. Hopefully i can get them mounted this week

I’ll be posting more pics soon. Wheels to match xj are being delivered tomorrow and rtt should be arriving next week

Factory lighting was all screwed up and I wanted something different

Been working on this trailer build little by little for a few months. Started as a ‘88 sportruck i got in high school from my grandpa. Drove it for 8 years until the block cracked behind the water pump. Couldn’t convince myself to put a motor in it when I already had a nicer xj, so i started cutting. Took a lot of things off and added a few back on but this is where i am at so far.
