and there is a big difference between "overheating" and "overheating enough to damage the block". plenty of the prior for any old car/jeep, very very few of the later of our old 4.0s. it's really not much of a concern when block-shoppin'. :thumbsup:
for every big item that it makes sense, there are a dozen little, easily mailed parts that now everyone would have to read through each and every partition to find. :(
do make sure that any manual trans is in neutral (and better yet, someone also has their foot firmly on the brake) before trying to crank over the engine via touching the starter. :thumbsup:

technically it's "lower" gears. the higher the number, the lower the gear ratio. I know, it doesn't make much sense. but don't blame me, I didn't come up with the vernacular. :D
house was built in the 80s. the bath outlets are on a separate gfi circuit, but the bedroom outlets should be the same as this switch.

it will not light up an incandescent bulb. not even a little. everything checks out as good in the breaker box so there must be a disconnect in the ground wire somewhere along the line. I look more into it tomorrow. thanks guys :D

found it when trying to replace the light fixture in the bathroom. my voltage detector was going haywire around the light fixture even though the switch was off. thought that the old owners may have been switching the neutral instead of hot, but found this gem instead. yay. :( this should be fun to track down. :fs1:
No. the 2.5 tranny WILL bolt up to your 2.8L. the 2.5 and 2.8 share the same transmissions. :thumbsup:
the 4.0 is the one that has a different transmission bolt pattern.
they are WAY stronger than MJ arms and the bushings are both tougher and give a better ride. the only cutting you need to do will not reduce the strength at all.
this is the only cut you have to make. the steel insert inside the bushing is just a tad too wide.
these are the optional cuts I made in order to get absolute maximum theoretical wheel travel. I didn't have the time to install them uncut first and so I don't have any comparisons for the theoretical "gains". it might be completely negligible.

I'd bet the resistor pack is bad. :thumbsup: it's located in the ductwork under the dash on the passenger side right above the passenger's left foot. comes out with an 8mm wrench I think. the reason high speed still works is that that's the full 12 volts. all other settings go through the resistors to drop the voltage and drop the fan speed.
