also, since our trucks generally have a forward rake, a 5.5 SOA might very well be matched with 6.5 up front. don't know until you try.

I wouldn't. I would sell them and get what's needed. or simply add in a slightly longer shackle in the rear. :thumbsup: have you installed them yet? do you have a heavier than normal bumper up front? it could just balance out.

try changing your oil. I had a bad Fram filter cause that very issue. and just for the heck of it you could use a thicker oil too.

found one!!!! been hunting and hunting for a pic (and was even contemplating setting up the dang thing just to get one) but here is my favorite home away from home. :D I've been in that tent more than any other mobile accommodation (possibly combined). not even sure how long I've had it (25 years?). It was my first tent that was sleeveless and I can set it up in the absolute pitch black without a flashlight. for a small tent it's a mansion for one, comfortable for 2, never tried 3. Need to start thinking about its replacement though, as the rainfly is sorta falling apart from sun exposure. :(

a buddy of mine is a lefthanded shooter (right-handed, but left- eyed) and he says the only real disadvantage he noticed with the m16 was the shells ejecting past your weak eye if it was open. I've noticed my 5 year old nephew is also right-handed/left-eyed and so I've been training him to hold it left handed on his toy guys. I was a top sharpshooter way back in boy scouts, does that count? :D

since my folks finally broke down and bought a camper, I figure I could start a camping thread. technically I haven't spent a night in this one yet, but I'm sure I'll be borrowing it eventually. :D and I've spelt many-a night in that green thing in front of it too. :D and I managed to find a pic of the camo palace. purchased half off of half off of half off of the sale price. :D ugly, but served me well for almost 20 years now. (seen here in the mountains of colorado). spent many-a-night in that red thing behind it too.

I see rti ramps as a great tool for checking that nothing binds and you're not about to rip out a brakeline. :D lookin' good though. :thumbsup:

the e-fan is most definitely toast. :fs1: and after 15 hours of balancing the use of AC vs blasting heat into the cab with the windows down, the ol' girl made it and my folks' trailer is safe it their driveway. :D my nephews love their new play fort and movie theater. and I do believe my folks are planning on camping in their own driveway tonight. :yes:

good news everyone! the jeep is working again! :banana: the dealership guy on the phone said it was a bad fuse, not a blown fuse , so I guess there's some corrosion issues for me to deal with in the near future. :( now I just need to get the Jeep mated back with the trailer and continue on our way :D

all depends on what's wrong and how soon they can get parts.

glimmer of hope! a guy at lostjeeps mentioned there's a chance that the computer has an internal fuse. still have to wait til morning to call green diesel engineering. they would know for sure. also, I found a nearby-ish junkyard with a computer. once again have to wait til morning to find out details on that. pic from yesterday because everybody loves pics :D

I appreciate the offer. :) right now the jeep is on a tow truck headed to the findlay dealership and the trailer/mom/me are hitching a ride with my uncle back to michigan. hopefully monday we'll know what's wrong with my baby and go from there.
