another vote for there's nothing wrong with those rpms. :thumbsup: the 2.5 is not the 4.0 and torque is at a premium (hence the 4.10 gears). heck, 2.5/autos came with 4.56 gears. :yes:

I would start with an r-134a adapter kit. AC issues are hard to diagnose without the proper gauges and tools.

you couldn't pay me to cut away at solid rockers. I went with more traditional tubes tucked up to the body but punched through the frame and welded to both sides. nothing touches my rockers (which have since gone missing anyways since it's a michigan truck). just throwing it out there. :)

pretty sure all the bellhousing bolts are standard

I wanna say they are 3/8", but am not sure of the length. I suggest grade 8 studs rather than bolts. then you can use them as guide pins :thumbsup:

ANYPLACE is a suspect as they all have leaked for someone at some time. :( some examples from my own experiences: I had water dripping in past the windshield seal, running down the inside of the a-pillar to the floor. had the tiniest gap at the top of the drivers door that leaked if the rain came it at just the right angle. a bad seal at the back of the hood was letting water run in and it followed a wire in past the firewall. the hose is a great idea, as well as sprinkling baby powder around in the suspect areas (the water will make tracks through it and lead you back to the source)

you'll still need a 4wd transmission from behind a 2.5/2.8. and the rear axle will need the perches moved to the proper location. gearing is important too, so verify what you bought before you install them. hopefully you got some 4.10s :thumbsup:
