  1. Amen to that! the biggest thanks to you guys/gals for all you do!
  2. it's essentially a chevy steering column, so a whole bunch of 80s chevys will work too.

    junkyard score!

good to know. so I can skip the junkyard run. (or at least that particular one) speaking of $2k, I just found this: https://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/cto/d/2005-jeep-liberty-28-diesel/6725089281.html nice I use one of the cupholders for my life savings, the door gets my phone.
  4. a mirror! can't believe that wasn't on my list yet

So I looked up the flat hood and I really like it! what does it take to swap one in? I may have to swing by that junkyard again to check out if it had it. for anyone that doesn't yet know, here's a pic of what we're talking about.
  6. glad to hear the important things are safe!
  7. good to hear you made it love the truck!
  8. the bones are complete. tomorrow is wiring. but this is just "phase one". it ain't pretty but it's solid. I leave on weds for a camping trip and am in a hurry to get things ready. the beautifacation will occur later. The light location is temporary. eventually I want hoop over the winch and then a skidplate where the lights are now. this is what's inside the frame rails. the close 2 go down through the 1/4" angle iron and the tow hook mounts, the rear one just to a huge washer. trying to attach things to the Libby frame is... more challenging than an MJ. I also added bolts in the middle of the angle iron through the frame crossmember. It's only a 5k winch. this will be more than sufficient. I also upgraded the bolts that mount the winch. I needed longer ones anyway, so why not splurge a bit.
  9. what about using a small piece of stiff metal to hold it straight?

is this it? that won't work for me. the left side is my trailer brake controller location.

A CRD block for under 2 grand? now THAT'S a steal the only reason I got the light bar is because I own a batt powered grinder. that KJ was a rotting mess of rust and the attachment studs all spun around aimlessly. I wasn't the first to try, I just tried the hardest. do you have a pic of this double outlet?
  12. wow, that's pretty dang lazy!
  13. whatever it is will be worse inside, but it looks like a pair of fronts would do the trick.
  14. does it monitor your oxygen level 24/7 or only when you push a button? does it have any sort of alarm for too low?
  15. when you get a chance, send a message to kryptronic about this. I've been poking around in the menus, but this is way above my head.
  16. how big of a patch do you need? I've read you can use front fenders to do some patchwork too.
  17. learned something new yesterday. apparently I can flip the spare tire carrier upside down and lift the tire up a couple inches. so that's what I did. I added some spacers to the bottom to get the tire more plumb, but I may have to remove them when I get a set of new tires with full tread. the window juuuust barely clears. the real question is if there is enough clearance to open the pintle hitch I use for the MJ trailer...

I was in the Atlanta area buying steel for my winch mount and figured I'd swing by pullapart north. didn't have any 05+ libertys so I wasn't able to get what I need, but they did have an earlier liberty Renegade and I left with the light bar and t-case skidplate. it's just sitting on there for the pic, not yet installed.
  19. are these the ones you're looking at? I like them. they look much less bulky than the traditional bushwackers
  20. flat fender flares? do you mean like bushwacker or Napier?
  21. and there never will be. it's a thin film that slowly builds up between the battery terminals and the cable clamps. juuuuust enough to stop the choke of electricity.
  22. 05 got the update I have no idea if the front fascias can be easily swapped.
  23. I love the detailing! also, you're garage is so organized I bet the spiders have name tags
