I do believe it's 88-90 will give a boost to 87. but my brain sucks so I could have those numbers wrong. tech questions should really get their own threads so more eyes will see them.

planning an upstairs or attic storage area? this is shaping up to be quite similar to my dad's barn. Should suit you well. (although I'd prefer a full-width car door to the small one and a man door.) the upstairs storage is awesome! this pic is from just before they bought the property. the green is long since gone.

ahhh, both. that would make the most sense.

if you need longer bumpstops, you could simply weld a plate to the axle for use as an extension. (I put the bumpstop on the bottom because it was easier than dealing with the snapped bolts)

Nice My buddy in michigan had a heated driveway put in. Previously his house was the last to get shoveled (IF it did) and now it's perfect all the time from snowflake one. If his neighbors didn't hate him before, they surely must now.

this comes from a fundamental "truth" I've known for 20 years now (and my 88 follows the logic), but I've read about a few renix trucks here and there that don't seem to follow (aka: the resistor went bad and the truck no longer started at all). Can someone confirm it? like with a wire diagram or something? If the computer does indeed open up a bypass wire to give the pump a full 12 volts, maybe there is an inherent corrosion weakness that makes some trucks no longer "have it"? or it reduces the voltage to the point of being worthless?

I could also go with a plain-jane panel. I think this might be my best bet since it'll fit on the factory switch panel to the left of the steering wheel.

keeping the light off the windshield is of key importance to me. we did a curved LED bar in that location on my buddy's superduty and there is a blinding glare on the glass. lost a week of time due to a neighbor's house needing a near-complete rebuild of her chimney structure (I originally agreed to help prep for paint, but we found a leak in the flashing that had rotted most everything inside the chimney) so nothing has happened with the lights or bumper. but the time has allowed me to ponder more. I figure I'll need 4 switches (winch lights, outer uppers, inner uppers, and reverse floods). thinking about this li'l guy, but haven't yet found the ideal place to put it.

there are some differences between an 87 and an 88 MJ, but I'm unaware of one that would prevent that kit from working just fine. also I'm moving this over to Tech.

my baby is a "smart" phone, and those quotes are important because as long as you're patient, it'll search the web. just don't ask it to run apps. and that's fine with me. it does the things I need (phone, calendar, alarms, radar, basic camera, to-do list, etc) and restricts me from wasting my life on addicting games and things. also it's waterproof to 3 ft and incredibly drop resistant. and I've tested both things numerous times. I cannot be trusted with fragile phones.

I also hit a roadblock. seems the fitbit needs a phone that runs android 5.0 or higher. so my old, reliable samsung rugby pro won't cut it and neither will my amazon tablet. so I had to find yet another device and so I ordered a used but newer samsung phone to use as a tiny tablet. we shall see.
