  1. moving this to Epic for obvious reasons
  2. tis the joys of old Jeeps. just gotta keep your spirits up and nip away at the issues. we've all been there.

    junkyard score!

yeah, a find like that around here would be nice.
  4. but now you can show them how to do it
  5. aftermarket or factory? usually there are drains in the bottom of the slider area. also, tech Q's should go in the Tech forum so more eyeballs will see it.
  6. that sucks. but if they install another, shouldn't they bleed the heater core?
  7. was a good day today. picked up a black grille to customize, a fuel tank skid, and some raw steel to finish up my front bumper. now all I need is some nice weather, free time, and energy.

see a doc if you have any doubts! I stopped by a Pull-a-part today and scored a black KJ grille and a KJ fuel tank skidplate. there was another skid but I was getting tired. maybe I'll go back later.
  9. I don't see one either. you should post up in the Tech forum and see if anyone has a link to one.
  10. more times than not, it's the simplest thing. also, you need more pics!

I see some good stuff in there! I'm hoping to find a day this week to hit the local pull a parts. we'll see. I also promised to caulk the exterior of a house and the good weather days might be limited.
  12. well, then never mind that.
  13. does it have an EGR?
  14. seems it was missing a number. try it now
  15. I do believe it's 88-90 will give a boost to 87. but my brain sucks so I could have those numbers wrong. tech questions should really get their own threads so more eyes will see them.
  16. love the rims! but this section is more for the VIN numbers. you should start a thread in the projects section for ongoing updates.
  17. planning an upstairs or attic storage area? this is shaping up to be quite similar to my dad's barn. Should suit you well. (although I'd prefer a full-width car door to the small one and a man door.) the upstairs storage is awesome! this pic is from just before they bought the property. the green is long since gone.
  18. is there a limit on height?
  19. ahhh, both. that would make the most sense.
  20. if you need longer bumpstops, you could simply weld a plate to the axle for use as an extension. (I put the bumpstop on the bottom because it was easier than dealing with the snapped bolts)
  21. sounds like a plan! are you digging into the mountain or filling in the valley? or does the bottom flatten out more than I remember?
  22. yeah, you've done some beautiful work there. love it!

    Snow

Nice My buddy in michigan had a heated driveway put in. Previously his house was the last to get shoveled (IF it did) and now it's perfect all the time from snowflake one. If his neighbors didn't hate him before, they surely must now.
  24. what language was that garbled mess translated from?
  25. was perusing google's pics and it looks like a lot of fun! https://www.google.com/search?q=La+Dee+Flats+OHV&client=firefox-b-1&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjixpfkv5PfAhXxxlkKHT_LDisQ_AUIECgD&biw=1280&bih=601
