  1. saw it on facebook in the MJ Comanche Modification Group page
  2. you can get new ones online or maybe even your local auto store. now's a great time to do both sides and get all new everything! I gotta at least try to see the silver lining in this tragedy.
  3. yup, the human immune system is a complicated thing and can sometimes go haywire when it interacts with viruses. this summer is my 20th anniversary of fighting with myalgic encephalomyelitis. it sucks. every day sucks. like a bad cold. every day. and those are the good days. on bad days I'm just bed ridden. and I didn't have a name for it until rather recently so most of those years were a struggle with my health plus a struggle with the ignorance of it all. now I hear of a whole new crop of people that appear to be going down that path after just a mild case of Covid. I fear for them. the latest estimates for long term problems from a mild case are 10-30%. that's millions that have everything from nagging cold symptoms, complete loss of smell/taste, heart damage, lung damage, chronic fatigue, etc. death is but one of the ways this virus can f up your existence. more people need to take it seriously. we now have the tools to stomp it out, now we just need to do it.
  4. it appears to have been stripped of all the good stuff and has no title, but it's for sale in Iowa apparently. that's all I know.
  5. need more details on your truck. maybe a pic?
  6. installed a factory radio with the AUX port in the Cruiser and got to use it today. first song up via Spotify shuffle is a simple little protest song..
  7. It's just a prick, a sore arm, and maybe a bit of your body freaking out for a day or 2 with your cold response. but knowing the day you get the shot you can plan for that and clear your schedule the following day just in case. If you sleep on your side, have them stick the other arm. and do yourself a favor and keep that arm moving the rest of that day. it appears to lessen the soreness.
  8. that sounds rather traumatic. but I assure you, a vaccine jab is nothing to get worked up about.
  9. how soon do you need this all up and running? I've got a couple taillight harnesses.
  10. they took the sockets too! what the heck!! those come right out! do we all need to use tamper resistant screws now? a dakota tail can be used in a pinch, but you'll still need sockets.
  11. there are some links to the factory shop manuals in the link in my sig
  12. the equations for mpgs is more complicated than just rpms. it'll be ok. heck, the stock 2.5L/auto came with 4.56s on those tiny tires.
  13. I was also holding off so I wouldn't take the spot of someone at higher risk (and also because my folks were already vaccinated so my fear of bring it home was negated), but as soon as they opened it to the younger crowd, I'm all in. tomorrow afternoon I get shot #2. bring it on!
