  1. Find some used LTBs, buy the brackets, and then save the rest for college. :D
  2. That's why I'm asking. car-part.com shows a split between 96 and older and 97 and newer for non-ABS axle shafts. I always thought 95 or 96 was the starting year. :(
  3. What year was it that Jeep started putting the bigger joints into every one?
  4. I'm pleased with my newest MJ, 31s on a 0" lift. :D I did swap in axles with better gears though. (3.55 from the crappy 3.07s)
  5. I already had something in that location so I put mine a little lower. :D
  6. Yup, and you get a radiator cap to boot! :D What year is the MJ you're using?
  7. Yeah, probably something like that. But a guy can dream can't he? :D While we're dreaming, how about an AtlasII 4-speed? That's a lot of gears! :driving:
  8. Comanche Club Image Hosting are some popular pic hosting sites.
  9. Yeah, it's like buying half a lift kit.

It's real easy once you get the hang of it. First you need to host them at another site like Comanche Club Image Hosting. Follow their instructions to upload your pics and then get the picture's internet address. (I usually right-click on the image and select "properties, then copy the address that's listed in there, but the websites might have a different way of doing it.) Then copy that addy and come back to the forums. You can add them into your post by pasting the address, then highlight it, then click on the IMG tag. Then the picture should appear in your post. :-)
  11. Slight change in plans. I had to move the truck asap (city discovered it wasn't yet tagged  ) and now it's not near the exhaust. But for what it's worth, here's a shot of the exhaust itself
  12. advanceadapters.com if you haven't been there yet. As to the radiator, I remember reading over the years that some have gotten by with the best 4.0L rad they could find combined with the best E-fans they could find. Heat is always the enemy with an engine that big in an engine compartment that small. Well, unless you try to use the Dana 35, then your biggest enemy becomes spitting ring gear teeth and shafts all over the place. :brows:
  13. You can get away with one per side. My 88 has been that way for years. :D
  14. My 90 has 2 keys. It's not driveable yet, but I've always wondered what it's like to have 2 keys for an MJ. :hmm: My 88 has one (because you don't need a key to start it and I lost that key years ago). My 86 has none. Don't need a key to start it and I certainly have no need to lock the dang thing. :laughin:
  15. I would go with the RE front and then go with rusty's 4" lift leafs. Most guys running the leafs got a bit more than 4" so it should all work out in the end. :D

    Hi Guys

Keeping quiet? You? :hmm: :teehee: Hey, are you burning the DVD of our trip to Moab from the original tape? My VCR no longer communicates with the TV now that we have the stupid Comcast digital box and the tape was a copy of a copy of a copy anyway. Bottom line, can I get a DVD copy. :D
  17. Keep in mind that the sheetmetal in the corners of the bed were never designed to hold up anything more than the tail lights. It'd probably be better to build a freestanding one that attached to a built bumper.

    hey Pete!

I told you I'd send some. :D I just had to wait for more to come in.
  19. That all depends on someones definition of "nice". :D I don't care for really sunny/warm days like most of the population seems to. :( Give me 70* and mostly-cloudy every day of the week. Unfortunately, weather.com says it's suppose to rain a lot in the coming days in Boston. :(

    a tale of 2 jeeps

Could be. Some places (work/schools/libraries) block out images from various sites just to be on the safe side.

    I can. :dunno:

    a tale of 2 jeeps

Yup, it has the "sound"bar, but apparently it's sans speakers and exists solely for the interior lights.

    hey Pete!

    Too much effort. :laughin:
