Yup, a closed/pressurized system allows the coolant to maintain a higher temperature and the engine burns more efficiently at higher temperatures.

6 pts and 12 pts both have their uses. That's why I have a set of both. :D For sockets, I made sure my set was a 6 pt. Years later when I bought my dad a set, I got him a 12 pt.

Only one of my MJs is red. :D Oh, and there's no such thing as a spool for a Dana 35, and probably for good reason. :roll: Don't forget that any change in suspension height in the front should warrant an alignment. But if yours was saggin', it might be ok. Just keep an eye on the wear on those front tires.

Not exactly a huge flaw there seeing as spacers are pretty worthless on an MPI engine anyways. :D IF there's some data out there that shows otherwise, I'd love to see it. (and no, data from the spacer's manufacturer doesn't count). But I digress... The Renix engines are awesome. The 4.0L in my 88 is pushing 200k and has been through more crap than I can recall. This includes a couple different oil starvation problems and a couple overheating situations (pegging the temp as far over as it would go). The 4.0 in my 90 has 210k miles and still purrs. :D I bought a 110k mile 89 4.0L to drop in the 88 because it was such a low mileage block I couldn't pass it up and I figured the 88 would eventually die. That was a couple years ago and that new block is still just sitting on the engine stand in the garage. She just keeps going and going and going and...

Did the idle start doing that out of the blue? I think the idle should be at 750 so if it's high all the time I'd look for a vacuum leak first.

The timing is set by the computer and so there are no factory adjustment procedures. What is happening that gives the impression of bad timing?

The stock Jeep carb could choke the life out of a lawnmower. Aftermarket or injection is the ooooonly way to go. :D

I bought Rusty's 180 lb coils and find them to be reasonably soft and very compliant. :dunno: Might have something to do with the big bumper though. :D

Like: "online wagering 2006" :D They are getting a bit smarter though. They've started being able to get some hobbies in the "interests" spot and jobs in the "occupation" spot. A couple of them might have even snuck through except that I got a half-dozen of them with the exact same hobbies/jobs. :roll: It's a good thing their english leaves a lot to be desired too.
