  1. i like! looks like yo uneed some longer lower control arms to get that axle moved forward.
  2. thats a perdy lift!! nice and shiney!
  3. figured it had to be a 2.5 maual. the 4.0 sucks gas like no other. throw in a auto and you are broke. 3speed no overdrive. gawd, I hated my wrangler just for that reason alone. and so expensive to lift or do anything with it.
  4. no offense but short arms are a good alternative if longarms get out of the budget. I wouldnt want a short arm kit without the drop brackets for sure. I had mine without the drop brackets first and did not like it. So flaming short arms isn't fair just because you don't sell them. that being said i am at 6.5 ish with the stock steering. the steering setup that motion offroad has i have definetly been thinking about but so far i have not had issues with my steering. But i do plan on upgrading to something similiar. I have also looked at the JCR offroad settup but i think it is the exact same thing. I would love to have long arms but cost was out of my budget. someday i will ahve them but for now i am very pleased with my short arm setup. Ask CW he likes his shortarms with Drop brackets too. and that guy is hardcore shortarm!
  5. no way you are gettin 22 on a tj. Is it a 4banger? or 4.0? is it manual? my tj 4.0 got the worst gas mileage. if its an auto there is no way of gettin 22. i got mabye 15 if i was lucky. but more power to you.
  6. i have short arms with drop brackets and it rides great and flexes awesome. but you can get a RockKrawler Longarm kit for the same price i bet. New Vs New anyways. I bought most of my stuff used. this is my shortarm flexin. pretty good if you ask me. heck pretty good if you ask anyone. I have not lifted a tire yet in the front. (although i have only had it out twice.)
  7. dude, that thing is all bent out of whack.
  8. doesn't look like a suspension test but it sure looks fun! you need bigger tires after cuttin out the fenders!
  9. personally 72 hours sounds about twice as long as it would take... I would think i could do a full swap if the 4.0 was out of the other car in under 24 hours including wiring. and 24 hours sounds like a long time even. can pull everything in the 2.5 in 4 hours i bet. 72 hours just sounds like a real long time..
  10. for the record i hate you.... living in a tropical paradise is not fair.... love the boat.
  11. i would scrap those and go with some stockers or some lift rear shackels. I have read that those types (revolvers etc) can be dangerous. I will try to find a link. that and booty fabbing your suspen sions isn't safe either. But i do like the truck!
  12. i can understand hwere you are comin from but the local az thread has been very cool. Everyone n there helps each other out and we all psot whatever we need to with no debates about right or wrong rarely. there isw another az site that is really well known and all they do is flame you for what you do wrong and never give a biased opinion or actaully help you. that would be arizona virtual jeep club. TJ oweners always have their heads up their butts. to think i actually owned one.... at least i owned an xj first! sold the tj to keep the mj!
  13. thats why i try to always buy local. if not no more than 1 hour away. i had that problem once trading some stuff. had his address so i did a reverse lookup for phone. called, turned cout he was 15, needless to say his parents were none to happy and i promptly got my stuff.
  14. if i had a long bed it would get cut for sure. can't wait to see some better pics.
