  1. I have an 88 Comanche with the renix system, I have a parts 93 Xj I want to swap the entire high output 4.0 system from the Xj into my MJ. My MJ is a buggy, so in will not need any of the dash or cab wiring, simply just the primary engine wiring and management system. How difficult will it be to weed out all the unecessary wiring? When pulling the wiring from the 93, id like to take only the engine wiring that I'll need, is there a way to identify what is what?
  2. This is a one time event for now, depening on how things go this first event.. we will be planning on a series of 3 or 4 events in 2009. The land is private, and there will NOT be "Open" hours for people to come and wheel. Wheeling will be on event weekends only. It's a great place, we want to keep it that way. Opening land up to anyone ends up trashing the place and thats when things can get ugly. 4 Events a year is plenty of wheeling we feel. Tell your friends! There will be guys coming from Columbus... I'm not sure where you're at.
  3. here's some poopy pics my friend took with his phone, they obviously don't do this rock crawl justice... The large rock ledge on the left is chin high, and it's a totally awesome play area, with large rocks to the left and smaller rocks on the right for guys with 33s and smaller. Just a Cable Creek teaser! Teaser Pics of the Extreme Ravie to come this weekend!
  4. Good lord, the sticker-mobile.
  5. FOR MORE INFO ON THE CABLE CREEK EVENT Click this Link: http://www.steelvalley4x4.com/Default.a ... osts&t=114 There will be an off road event at CABLE CREEK October 25-26. This is a NEW 250 acre wooded campground located 8 miles south of Wellsville, near Toronto, OH on County Rd. 56. The Ads and Flyers will be up Monday. The "Cable Creek Adventure" is being hosted by Steel Valley 4x4. Sponosors are already signing up (Free set of Pit Bull tires for example) with goody bags, ticket sales and drawings for multiple prizes. Cable Creek is a beautiful facility with plenty of parking, camping, bathrooms, and everything we need. It's going to be a wonderful end of the year finale, and I'd love to have everybody come check out Cable Creek and join us in the off road fun. There will be Stock/Mod.... and well, Really Fun Mod loops available. All brand new woods trails, 250 acres total land. Trail loops will be in the 5-6 mile range. I'm basically living in the woods for the next 7 weekends cutting trails. Any helpers? Call me! You won't be disappointed... more to come! 740-275-6179 Event Flyer:
  6. That's an S&W Race Cars 10-point Cherokee Roll Cage. They come shipped exactly like you see it. Hey man awesome rig! But, you gotta get rid of that Dana 35 and stick a Ford 8.8 back there my man. Trust me, it's the bed mod you can make.
  7. Here are some pics of the bed. Literally... it's very easy to bob the bed. Remove the bed. Figure out where the frame needs to be cut, and new rear crossmember welded in with the "Way Back" hangers used from RuffStuffSpecialities.com. Cutting in the correct location is crucial to have proper shackle angle. I used a YJ OEM front bumper for my new rear crossmember. Install Xmember, tow point... weld. Install bed.... cut to length. Patch bed ends and wire up some tractor lights... done.
  8. Wheeling on rocks is so different than muddy slick trails. It's 100% traction, all the time. I'd love to try it out some day. i've wheeled side by sides on rocks before, but never my MJ.
  9. Tires weight 72lbs each, wheels are 22. Internal Stauns add another 2lbs. They are awesome! They hook up really well. I wish they made 35x13.5, they only make 35x15.5 which is too wide. They are great on rocks, and in the mud. They clog up a little, but once you spin them they fling out and work great. I was runnin Iroks before, and I've climbed everything with these Rockers than I did with the Iroks, and they perform comparably. Only difference is they lack sidewall lugs that the Iroks have, but I didn't notice any lack in performance. I run about 4-5lbs in them.
