  1. We sell a lot of the 32x11.5 Maxxis Bighorn's. I'd say we sell as many sets of the 32's anymore as we do of the 31's. I think the reason simply is the fact that a lot of guys will run them on their factory rims and they look/feel a lot bigger than the 31's do. The only downfall I can see is finding a replacement down the road as it's an "odd" size. I'd probably recommend buying the 5th if you can swing it. Here is a local guy running them on the factory rims to give you an idea of what they look like.
  2. If you have the ARB 180103 Solenoid's you can service them yourself. The procedure for dismantling the solenoid valve is as follows: 1. Unscrew and remove the top nut 2. Lift coil body 3. Remove screws from retainer plate 4. Pull to remove the retainer plate, tube and plunger 5. The valve can now be cleaned and serviced, making sure the bottom of the plunger and its seat in the body are in good condition 6. Reassemble as above A fast "on the trail" fix for a malfunctioning solenoid is to dismantle the solenoid as above but remove the return spring from the plunger and reassemble without it. This will allow the Air Locker to engage but it won't be possible to disengage.
  3. We run the Dynomax Cat-Back system with a Catco cat. on Rebecca's XJ. It sounds very good in my opinion. She didn't want something loud and she's really happy with the way it sounds. Sounds good at idle and has a nice growl to it under load (not droning). You can buy the Dynomax Super-Turbo muffler itself.
  4. Not 100% true... XJ Control Arm Drop Bracket kits don't 100% bolt-up to the MJ's. The support braces on most of the kits (Rough Country and Rubicon Express) will not work on the MJ's due to the extra supports on the MJ's frame rails from the factory. With that being said we've had first hand experience with both the RE and RC drop bracket kits on the MJ's without the support braces and they've held up just fine. Also there are several longarm kits that won't work on the MJ's that were designed for the XJ's without modifications.
  5. Go with a quality joint (like Spicer) over the "store-brand" one's. They'll last a lot longer. As stated the Spicer part number is 5-153x. Also as stated if your replacing them all it's a good time to replace the socket yoke assembly. That Spicer part number is 211544X.
  6. Mount on the axle or mount on the body/bracket?

  8. Not true. We stock/sell the ACC kits for the MJ in both the carpet and rubber versions. They are MJ specific molded. EDIT: The kit you mentioned above is the ACC kit...
  9. ACC makes a kit for the MJ's.
  10. Looks like the spring plate with u-bolt attached to it.

  13. Roger, We may have a set off of a older SR5 pickup still around. I'll try to find time to look and get back to you. -Adam
  14. You do know that the XJ is a uni-body correct? By cutting the top and the wheel wells out your loosing a good portion of the structural integrity of the XJ...
  15. We run the Hesco hi-flow t-stat housing and hi-flow waterpump on our stroker in our '89 XJ and have had no issues with it.
