  1. You can buy the strap kit. This will allow you to just drill the hole's out and use the new strap kit; thus no need to replace the yoke itself.
  2. In this picture you can see the side-pull bracket that comes with the C4x4 kit; Here is a side-shot of how they tie into the frame-rail.
  3. Yes. I believe the torque spec is 210 ft. lbs. Change the seal while you're at it and use a new nut.
  4. You will need one's that are 2.5" wide; the one's you linked are only 2" wide. You'll want something like this if your worried about height of the perch; http://motionoffroad.com/catalog/index. ... ts_id=2256
  5. We are in need of a grab handle screw cover in black. It will be for the left side. If we can't get just the cover cheap we'd be interested in the entire handle w/screw covers as well.
  6. 5-7" of lift depending on what type (2wd or 4wd) and the condition of the factory packs. Also the spring perches you choose to use, and what axle you have will play a role in the lift amount. We recommend using a 6.5" coil in the front in SOA rear applications.
  7. You can easily stop the rubbing by "shimming" the steering stop with a washer.
  8. Bilstien 5100's :thumbsup:
  9. The RK joints have recently had a design change not to awful long ago as well. The miss-alignment spacer is now built into the center section of the joint itself. We sell the snot out of RK lifts and components. I think in the last 5 years we've only had 1; maybe 2 warranty claims with any of the RK stuff. I think the RK stuff sits up pretty high compared to 90% of the other XJ/MJ longarm kits on the market;
  10. Bushings should be available in a pack of like 5-8 in the "HELP!" section of your local auto parts store.
  11. If your in a pinch and don't want to wait we do have 2 of those (44680) on the shelf that we could get to you much faster than the 2 week wait. Shoot us a PM if we can be of any assistance.
  12. From us? What was his name and/or order # ? We don't ship DVD's via FedEx so....
  13. Your order was processed on Mon 12/27/10; delivered on Tue 01/04/11. That's 8 days. Not to mention a holiday thrown in the middle of it....
  14. 231 and 242 linkages are NOT the same. Many times it's just simply the "bushings" on the linkage. You can purchase new bushings in the "HELP" section of your local auto parts store.
  15. For the retainer plate you can buy factory part number 1-05083678AA which is off of a TJ Rubi. They bolt right up without any modification at all. If your local parts guy can't find that number have them look for 5083678AA. Last time I checked it was about $10 for the pair. Than all you have to do is open up the ZJ caliper bracket a bit to fit the shaft threw it to clear the seal. We have a used kit for sale; sent you a PM in regards to it.
  16. I disagree. The changeover was partway through 94 or between 94 and 95. My 94 XJ's 231 (which is the original one it came with from the factory) does NOT have a true neutral. And not having a CAD, it cannot be towed on a dolly without pulling a drive shaft. Our '93 XJ NP231 does have true neutral. Our '94 YJ NP231 does as well.
  17. HERE Here is a pic with the mesh kit installed;
  18. Personally I'd never run a spool in a front axle; even if it's offroad only.
  19. OME does not make a XJ/MJ 3" coil spring. They only make a 1.5-2" (930) coil. You can however use the OME ZJ 1" V8 coil (934) and get aprox 2.5-3" of lift on the XJ/MJ's. Just be aware that the 934 coil has a higher spring rate (180lbs) and will ride a bit stiffer (harsher) than what many think OME coils should ride.
  20. That MJ is now in Indiana. 8)
  21. All the photo's mkbruin just posted are of the 91+ model that uses the open-loop system. The Renix era (closed-loop) has a different valve and different setup. The photo's of the Jeep w/Blue BRX hoses are my XJ and I've converted it to an open loop setup. The best photo I have shows the old (left) vs. the new (right) of how the setup goes from the water pump to the heater core.
  22. We have been using vents (Lebarron one's) on our XJ's & MJ's for several years (close to 6+ years now). To date we've never had an issue with any electronics, or water getting into the vents. A couple of them even sit outside all winter with snow directly ontop of them. All the vents do is help the underhood temps get out of the engine bay faster; they have no relation to how well your heater works in the winter.
