  1. exhaust manifold has a crack in it. should I just weld them up and go with it or get a set of aftermarkets?
  2. So I have a 88 model that has been running just fine. Parked it and when came back to it the thing will crank and run for a minute then die. Throttle response is there but will only run for a few seconds. Cranks right back up and does same thing. Checked the bleeder on the fuel rail and have plenty of pressure.. Any suggestions?
  3. it appears to have a leak between the manifold and the pipe...I took it apart thinking there will be a donut gasket..Nope..looks like the pipe is made like a JIC fitting..so now what..I did notice the pipe further back has been smashed significantly which I am sure has increased the back pressure.. Thought of fixing the damaged section and bolting it back together to see..Any thoughts?
  4. could a mucked up steering stabilizer shock cause it...
  5. brand new rotors and even took them and had them checked to make sure they were "true"...plus if it were brake or rotor issue you would feel it at low speeds as well wouldnt you? :dunno:
  6. 2wd
  7. Ok..its not the death wobble...not the rotors either...but this joker shakes severely at 60+ braking..so much so it feels as if the tires are bouncing off the ground...slow braking no issue...tie rods track bar???or all of the above....
  8. :headpop: just talked to hellcreek....6 week lead time til he fires up his oven again..... :headpop:
  9. how about the ones at Motion Offroad...they have 4.5" lift packs rated at 960# capacity or 1200# capacity for the same price..$375.00 :dunno:
  10. any other suggestions??they gotem but wow..
  11. the cherokee pump will not work(as far as i know)...yours sure sounds like what both my MJ's were doing...Replaced CPS, fuel filter, ballast resistor, and finally fuel pump...Waallaaah purrrrred like a kitten...So replaced the pump on MJ#2....Waaallllaaah purred like a kitten... :clapping:
  12. I need a good set of packs that will equate to about 4.5-5" of lift..already am spring over on a dana 60 axle + blocks...combination of weak stock packs and blocks results in a lot of hop as well as wrap...already know NOT Rusty's.
  13. the 87 and 88 were both the same...but fuel pump fixed both trucks..what are the odds of 2 at the same time going out.....replaced the 87 and it ran like a top....figured what the hey and replaced the 88....boom it ran too...
  14. where am i gonna find this part....orielly and ozone both say not available...but they also act like I am speaking pig latin....
