my dad likes to marinate the chicken breasts in a greek vinaigrette dressing for a couple hours and then grills them up.  simple and delicious.  :D

I do the same with Italian dressing.

I made corned beef a couple weekends ago.  My wife hates it, so I only make it when I'm hungry for it, lol.  I made "Irish stew" last night (no pics), but it was beef not lamb.  Again, my wife hates lamb, so......happy wife, happy life.  I did have 3 shots of Irish whisky too.:brows:

I did pull off a lasagne on Tuesday, along with a gallon or so of giardiniera (pickled vegetables).  I had a whole $6 wrapped up into that, $3 of which was for the head of cauliflower.

Pizza eggs for breakfast this morning, figured I’d do something fancier than just last night’s cold counter pizza.

Better than I expected, although I’m a little iffy on the eggy crust bits. Should be good if you had kids around though, quick and easy without just being pizza for breakfast.

A few months ago I made this.

Put hamburger in a gallon ziploc bag, roll smooth and flat. Cut plastic bag off. Put rice and gravy on meat, then roll up. Bake in the oven until the meat is done. It turned out pretty good, the rest of the family liked it.

Been awhile, bumping this.

Absolutely gorgeous early summer day here today.  I grabbed some extra meaty pork country ribs, marinated them all morning in yellow mustard and fat boy pork rub seasoning.  Then 4.5 hours on the smoker @ 200-225.  Sauced them and they are just chilling in the smoker as the fire dies out.  Boiling off some fresh local corn, along with some baked beans and strawberry shortcake to finish it all off.  And homemade limeaid, too.  Welcome to early summer.:beerchug:

Pete stopped by on his journey back to GA and hung out with us Monday.  I make a 9 lb picnic and a chicken on the smoker.  Bunch of other picknicey stuff to go with it, plus beer.  LOL.
