Guys, I get real sic with cooking. Should probably post on here more.

This is simply melted motz with sautéed pinto beans and peppers on top. Pickled red onion gives the acid. ...it can't be seen well, but there's big slices of chicken breast in the middle :)

Luckily for myself, my wife enjoys cooking and does the majority of it. I'll usually cook breakfast or something on the grill. I have however started making sourdough things, luckily with the help of my wife, most times.

After struggling with stomach issues much of my life, I figured out that breads and such aren't my friends and limited them for years. Until my friend that is apparently smarter than my doctors suggested that I try sourdough. It's been a game changer, we've made bagels, waffles, (regular or savory with cheese and jalapeno), pizza dough, Bao buns and she's made focaccia bread.  The waffles and bagels are really easy and the rest not too bad. We usually make a double batch and freeze the rest. If you have trouble with regular breads, I highly recommend that you try it!

Anybody got any cold weather recipes? Perhaps a chili recipe

I’ve got many pounds of deer meat in my freezer. I defrosted some shoulder meat that I processed into chunks and I’m going to make a stew with them tonight. I will keep this thread posted.

Had "steak salad" on the mind yesterday. I made this... some Flat Iron Encrusted Steak with Ground Coffee beans (Sumatra Starbucks).

• With homemade croutons, fried quinoa, char-fried corn, parmesan, cherry toms + salad mix & dressing.

Here's one of my favorite cheap-cheap-cheap meals to make. Can be prepared as both a burrito or quesadilla.

Slow-cooked ground meat with beans + sliced japs & red bell peppers.

Obviously, some righteous salsa and sour cream tops it off. :P
