  1. Truly one of the best DMB songs made ~ 41. This one performed with the legendary Bela Fleck and The Flecktones. This one turned an 8 min jam song to the Epic of Gilgamesh. WORTH YOUR LISTEN
  2. Ok, if I can get Real Meta on this, I had the pleasure of driving each of these cars before my "first" 1993 Chrysler LaBaron. If you can believe this, I got to drive a 1978 blaze orange Cherokee Chief. Like this... but not so shiny. Dip Sh__T brother somehow got ahold of it during college, and then it was soon sold. Next I got his hand-me-down 1979 Dodge Magnum (maroon like this) with a landau vinyl top (also maroon). I miss each of these deeply. May have been the only one in family who actually appreciated them. This was 15—16—17 years old.
  3. Guessing you guys know how this New Thread will go... We're talking your First car or truck that you drove in High School. This one happened to be mine. Even though this is a stock picture, it represents my 1993 Chrysler Lebaron (gold) to a 'T'. The V6 in it performed well. Wondered why my dad bought it for me... it was for its engine, and not for its Grandpa Looks. LOL
  4. Can we have a current picture of 'candy bar'? " Done-growed-up a lot by now, I bet... "
  5. First off... • RIP our Mono Culture of pre internet • Production of old broadcast TV is outstanding • Young Bob Barker had some swagger
  6. Talked to a guy about some dirt this past weekend. My 2.5 was right in its element going home... always surprised how well it performs, while doing "truck stuff".
  7. This magazine article came from a 1985 'PICKUPS & MINI-TRUCKS'. I scanned this in at high quality. Bet it might be pretty neat for those who have a carbed 2.5L they want to improve. Part numbers for everything are in the write up. CLICK ON THIS PDF BELOW Jeep_Breathing_Exercises_Carb_2.5L.pdf
  8. You just wait ! Recently started going thru an old folder on a work computer. About circa 2012 (or earlier) I saved quite a few great memes from that era. Oldies But GOODIES
  9. Here's one of my favorite cheap-cheap-cheap meals to make. Can be prepared as both a burrito or quesadilla. Slow-cooked ground meat with beans + sliced japs & red bell peppers. Obviously, some righteous salsa and sour cream tops it off.
  10. Pouring Mold Part #2 happened this weekend. Happy to report that the aerosol mold separation product did its job. Today, I had to wait a long 6 hours for everything to cure before I knew anything. Thankfully Mold Part #2 did not stick to Part #1. This project has taken on a life of its own. Got $500 bucks easily wrapped up into this already. There's still a wee bit of uncertainty involving the future steps. Regardless of the outcome, I'm grateful for the success in overcoming all the challenges, and learning. Next: purchasing product to finally pour Mold Part #3. (By the way... an old door with DIY sawhorses make for a fantastic work table)
